Manchester United captain Ashley Young will not be joining Inter Milan next summer neither will he be signing a pre-contract agreement with other clubs having be given a one-year contract extension.  Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a huge fan of the 34-year-old and feels his presence at the club will be useful to the younger players in the team.  Although, the decision to keep him at the club haven't gone down well with fan who vented angrily on different social medias.  Some of the tweet reads; "How the might have fallen.. "  Another aggrieved post reads: "The more Man U fans want to escape the more the owners give them pain".  Another reads: "This Ole and Co. are really taking us for granted. You can't be renewing Ashley's contract while there are real loopholes to cover.. it's getting out of hand".  Sad ones goes this way: "Why, just why would you do that? Kompany reveals why Manchester City star B. Silva is a special player and a leader

Image
Vincent Kompany has lauded special praises to his former Manchester City teammate and friend Bernando Silva.

Kompany is highly convinced Silva is a special player who can become a City legend in no distant future.

The 24-year-old has spent three season at City and has gone to win 7 trophies while making 79 appearances. Impressed with how far Silva has come, Kompany said in his new book 'Treble Triumph': I think everyone looks at Bernardo as a top player.

"He's still so young, having turned 24 during this amazing season. I believe he's at the start of something every special for City.

"What makes him a special player, and not just a gifted player, is he's such a positive guy. It's very natural to him. I also call him a leader. I've told him that and he laughs at me when i say it".

Explaining more on why he sees Bernando Silva as a leader, Kompany wrote: "There are so many different types of leadership. His natural ability to be positive all the time, and to influence the group by being like that, makes such a difference.

"He'll come to training, or the dressing room, always ready for action. He trains at 100% and he does it with a smile. It's infectious. That's a very important quality to have as a leader".

Kompany reportedly handpicked Bernando Silva to be his replacement but Pep Guardiola felt David Silva, Fernandinho and Sergio Aguero have spent 8 to 10 years at City and should be captain first before him.

He added; "When he's on the pitch, he's one of the most talented players and yet he always works as hard, if not harder, than anyone else. That's another side of leadership. He might laugh at me but maybe that's the next step for him to realize what he needs to do to be in the highest category of leader one day".

Revealed: Mo Salah is still injured with an ankle injury and now needs injections to play

Its difficult to  fathom the sort of pain Mohamed Salah goes through before and after playing a football match.  The Liverpool winger is still suffering an ankle injury sustained against Leicester City almost one moment. The culprit remains Hamaza Choudhury whose nasty challenge sent Salah to the ground in agony.  Sadly, Salah trains alone, the medical staff and coaches have tailored a specific training programmee for him in a bid to help him recover as quickly as possible. Before a game is played, the fluid in his ankle is drained and later he is injected with pain killers 'presumably' to reduce the pain he will feel.  Asked about Salah's injury, Jurgen Klopp said during his press conference: "He should be fine. He has had to do his individual stuff but he will be in training {on Friday}.  "I think it is more really annoying- for him, not me- the fact that the injury always has a bit of fluid in, and he has to deal with it, we get it out an...

Murphy: Sadio Mane will be fired up to play Manchester City and Guardiola

Former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy feels Pep Guardiola has made a big mistake by insinuating Sadio Mane is a 'diver'. Mane is the Premier League's most improved player and he is the reason Liverpool are six points clear of the chasing pack. Winding him up right before Manchester City go to Anfield where they've failed to win in over 16 years don't make sense. Murphy thinks Guardiola never planned to reveal what he thinks about the Senegalese and now forced to regret that statement. "I don't think Pep went to { the press conference} with that in his head, i think he was just triggered by a question about the result at Villa Park and it's just come out", Murphy told talkSPORT. "In hindsight he might look back on that and think, 'i wish i hadn't said that'. If i was him, the last thing i'd want to do is wind up the best player in the Premier League at the moment and before you play him next week". Sadio Mane...

10 years without a trophy! Its time Harry Kane ditch Tottenham Hotspur

Last season was memorable, Tottenham Hotspur were very close to lifting their first ever Champions League trophy. If they had won it, Spurs would've been the dream club of every elite player.  Superstars all over the world would've joined at the opportunity to play for them while the likes of Christian Eriksen, Vertonghen, Ross and others won't hesitate to extend their contract. But the defeat to Liverpool was sour and the bitter taste have lingered on till this very day.  Spurs have dropped to a level of mediocrity never seen before and questions are beginning to be asked about the manager's commitment to the club's course as well as players.  The top players are running down their contract with the view of moving else where there's a realistic chance of winning trophies.  That idea of leaving has gobsmacked Harry Kane who now knows he might never win a single trophy with Spurs despite having Mauricio Pochettino as his manager.  Why? Tott...

Liverpool 2-1 Crystal: Firmino is no average striker and 5 things we learnt

Another game, another victory, Liverpool have finally discovered how to grind out results even when playing way below average.  Palace were good to watch, they stopped Liverpool's swashbuckling football in the first 15 minutes of play and put them to the sword by scoring the first goal only for VAR {Video Assistant Referee} to choke it off.  The first half might have ended in stalemate but the second half saw Liverpool take the initiative through Sadio Mane whose snap shot evaded everyone and found the back of the net.  Wilfred Zaha did restore parity to keep Palace fans believing but in the dying minute, Firmino scored the winning goal to put Liverpool 2-1 up and eight points clear of Leicester City.  Here are the five things we learnt:  1. Van DIjk is a monster, he is a world class defender-  Where will Liverpool be without Van Dijk? Porbably in 7th place or most likely 10th. He won every aerial ball, tussled with Jordan Ayew and came out on ...

Pep Guardiola praises Liverpool duo Alexander Arnold and Andy Robertson

Pep Guardiola has lauded praises on Liverpool' sensational fullback Trent Alexander Arnold and Andy Robertson.  Both fullbacks have provided the width and creativity currently lacking in Reds team midfield. They have created more assists than all of Liverpool midfielders combined {23 to 6}.  In fact, Arnold has a Guinness World Record for the most assist by a defender in a single season {13}.  Guardiola is fully aware of their attacking prowess and has decided to praise them.  "The quality they have. If you play high, they get in behind. They are so fast", Guardiola said during his press conference.  'Alexander-Arnold and Robertson are incredible crosses. They have fantastic headers, they win second balls. It's a real complete team".

De Bruyne warns: I don't care about the record at Anfield, we will beat Liverpool

Kevin De Bruyne has bruised aside the popular notion that Manchester City will always lose at Anfield when they face Liverpool.  City are yet to win at Anfield since 2003 but De Bruyne thinks its all meaningless statistics that will be ended on Sunday.  A draw at Anfield will be ok but a win will be fantastic for Pep Guardiola and City who will close the gap to 3 points and pile pressure on Liverpool. But a defeat will hand the initiative to Liverpool who will move 9 points clear of the reigning champions. Asked about the record, De Bruyne said: "What can a player do with statistics like this?" the midfielder asked reporters.  "It's for you guys to keep track, i don't care. The big games are the ones you want to play and win.  "I prefer to play in that than when there is nobody there. Professionals want to play in front of 50,50, 70, 80 thousand people and it makes it worthwhile. You train all your life to get to the big stages".  De Bruyne...

On current form and performance, Liverpool star Sadio Mane and Manchester City star Raheem Sterling are world's finest left forwards in football..  Both stars are extremely fast, strong, skillful, creative and above all, very good in finding the back of the net.  They both average a ratio of 1 goal a game and created at least 4 to 5 chances each game.. Pep Guardiola attacks Liverpool star Sadio Mane: He is a talent but he dives a lot!

Pep  Guardiola has reacted to Liverpool's sensational comeback against Aston Villa and Sadio Mane play acting.  Against Aston Villa, Liverpool were lucky to crawl back from from Trezequet's 21st minute goal and on go on to win. They scored two goals in seven minutes to clinch the winner through Andy Robertson and Sadio Mane.  Mane though was brilliant but Guardiola feels the Senegalese has developed the habit of going down too easily. He now play acts to win Liverpool games. He did it against Leicester City and then against Tottenham to give Liverpool all three points.   But against Aston Villa, Mane went down too easily which Pep Guardiola now feels he no play acts a lot.  "It has happened many times, what Liverpool have done, in the last few years, it's because {Sadio Mane} is a special talent", Guardiola told BBC Sport.  "Sometimes he's diving, sometimes he has this talent to sore incredible goals in the last minute. He's a talent". ...

Jamie Vardy reveals what Leicester City must do to beat Liverpool

Leicester City's high flying Jamie Vardy has warn his teammates not to underestimate the present Liverpool team who are breaking all kind of records in their run to major titles.  Liverpool is the first team in Premier League history to have won the European treble {the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup} while remaining unbeaten in the Premier League.  But despite their success, Vardy feels Leicester City can beat them at the King Power Stadium or at least hold them to draw- which seems to be good result agaisnt Liverpool this days.  "Liverpool is a good team, a fantastic team with good work ethics", Vardy told reporters.  "We can stop them playing our game, stopping the cross from Arnold and Robo and probably limit the spaces their front three need to attack." Asked about Liverpool's trip to Doha will affect their fitness, Vardy added: "I don't think that comes to it at all.  "Every professional footballer...
