Revealed: Mo Salah is still injured with an ankle injury and now needs injections to play

Mo Salah is still suffering with the ankle injury sustained against Leicester almost a month ago
Its difficult to fathom the sort of pain Mohamed Salah goes through before and after playing a football match.

The Liverpool winger is still suffering an ankle injury sustained against Leicester City almost one moment. The culprit remains Hamaza Choudhury whose nasty challenge sent Salah to the ground in agony.

Sadly, Salah trains alone, the medical staff and coaches have tailored a specific training programmee for him in a bid to help him recover as quickly as possible.

Before a game is played, the fluid in his ankle is drained and later he is injected with pain killers 'presumably' to reduce the pain he will feel.

Asked about Salah's injury, Jurgen Klopp said during his press conference: "He should be fine. He has had to do his individual stuff but he will be in training {on Friday}.

"I think it is more really annoying- for him, not me- the fact that the injury always has a bit of fluid in, and he has to deal with it, we get it out and it comes back, and stuff like that.

"But this is not a real injury in this sense, so I've heard (from the physios), so he should be fine".

Normally, Salah needs at least three weeks to recover properly, but, keeping him out for three weeks  could completely derail Liverpool's plans for the season..

He is so important that if Liverpool were to rest him for three weeks, they're Premier League title race will instantly be over.. wow!!

10 years without a trophy! Its time Harry Kane ditch Tottenham Hotspur

Last season was memorable, Tottenham Hotspur were very close to lifting their first ever Champions League trophy. If they had won it, Spurs would've been the dream club of every elite player.  Superstars all over the world would've joined at the opportunity to play for them while the likes of Christian Eriksen, Vertonghen, Ross and others won't hesitate to extend their contract. But the defeat to Liverpool was sour and the bitter taste have lingered on till this very day.  Spurs have dropped to a level of mediocrity never seen before and questions are beginning to be asked about the manager's commitment to the club's course as well as players.  The top players are running down their contract with the view of moving else where there's a realistic chance of winning trophies.  That idea of leaving has gobsmacked Harry Kane who now knows he might never win a single trophy with Spurs despite having Mauricio Pochettino as his manager.  Why? Tott...

Manchester City star Raheem Sterling or Liverpool ace Sadio Mane: Who is world's best left forward

On current form and performance, Liverpool star Sadio Mane and Manchester City star Raheem Sterling are world's finest left forwards in football..  Both stars are extremely fast, strong, skillful, creative and above all, very good in finding the back of the net.  They both average a ratio of 1 goal a game and created at least 4 to 5 chances each game.. But the question is which of the two is better.  Raheem Sterling:  Sterling have remained pivotal in what Pep Guardiola is planning to do at Manchester City. In his 4 year sting at City, the English man has won 7 trophies including back to back Premier League titles while scoring a staggering 89 goals in 132 appearances..  Rated as the second most expensive player after Kylian Mbappe, Sterling has taken his game to whole new level.. He is arguably the best player in the Premier League..  Sadio Mane Mane is a gem, an industrious player who works his stocks off for the team. W...

The 3 reasons why Manchester City might never win the Champions League under Guardiola

Winning the Champions League is difficult, a very difficult competition that only few clubs in Europe have managed to win in history.  Real Madrid might have made a mockery of how difficult it is by winning it 13 times of which 3 were won in quick succession. But over the years it has shown that achieving that fate involves more than just having Cristiano Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane.  It requires having a world class team alongside with a very good bench that can rival the best teams in Europe.  The team and manager must believe its possible to beat the best and be the best at all times. That self believe is what is lacking in Manchester City and hampering their progress in the Champions League.  Pep Guardiola might have won it 2 times with Barcelona but winning it again with Manchester City will be much harder.  Why? The fans don't believe, they're not as passionate as fans in Anfield who always give their players the aura of gods when they pla...

Why Adrian feels he should be Liverpool's no. 1 and not Alisson Becker

For the first time in 10 years, Liverpool have two talented goalkeepers going to head to head for a starting spot.  The first is Alisson Becker who is currently injured after picking up a calf injury in Liverpool's first match of the season. But before his injury, Alisson proved he is a world class keeper by leading Liverpool to their sixth Champions League.  He is the only goalkeeper in history who succeeded in winning the Champions League, Premier League and Copa America best goalkeeper.  He is also UEFA Best Goalkeeper and FIFA World Best Goalkeeper. Alisson is a modern day shot-stopper who combines athleticism with good reflexes, accurate passing and an incredible footwork.  But his injury has paved the way for another to emerge from shadow into the spot light.  Adrain is finally fulfilling his talent and developing quickly into one of world's finest goalkeepers.  With Liverpool, he has won his first ever trophy as a player by keeping Chels...

Liverpool 2-1 Crystal: Firmino is no average striker and 5 things we learnt

Another game, another victory, Liverpool have finally discovered how to grind out results even when playing way below average.  Palace were good to watch, they stopped Liverpool's swashbuckling football in the first 15 minutes of play and put them to the sword by scoring the first goal only for VAR {Video Assistant Referee} to choke it off.  The first half might have ended in stalemate but the second half saw Liverpool take the initiative through Sadio Mane whose snap shot evaded everyone and found the back of the net.  Wilfred Zaha did restore parity to keep Palace fans believing but in the dying minute, Firmino scored the winning goal to put Liverpool 2-1 up and eight points clear of Leicester City.  Here are the five things we learnt:  1. Van DIjk is a monster, he is a world class defender-  Where will Liverpool be without Van Dijk? Porbably in 7th place or most likely 10th. He won every aerial ball, tussled with Jordan Ayew and came out on ...

Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp reveals who will replace 'injured Fabinho in midfield'

Liverpool FC have confirmed Fabinho will be sidelined for the next 6- 8 weeks with a ankle injury. The Brazilian will miss roughly 10 games including the FIFA Club World Cup scheduled to be held in Qatar.  His absence will be felt, knowing he has developed into of the best holding midfielders in the world. But Liverpool have enough midfielders reckons Jurgen Klopp who has pinpointed 3 players who he think can play that role.  Naby Keita, Adam Lallana, Gini Wijnaldum and Jordan Henderson are the four players Klopp believe can play that role.  Realistically, only Jordan Henderson can play that role perfectly due to his physical strength, tenacious tackling and discipline..  "Naby is OK. No more injuries from Napoli other than Fabinho", Klopp told reporters during his press conference.  'It's an opportunity for someone, of course. Hendo, Gini and Lallana have all played it. We can system too. Losing a player of Fab's quality is a blow but we are not th...

Jamie Vardy reveals what Leicester City must do to beat Liverpool

Leicester City's high flying Jamie Vardy has warn his teammates not to underestimate the present Liverpool team who are breaking all kind of records in their run to major titles.  Liverpool is the first team in Premier League history to have won the European treble {the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup} while remaining unbeaten in the Premier League.  But despite their success, Vardy feels Leicester City can beat them at the King Power Stadium or at least hold them to draw- which seems to be good result agaisnt Liverpool this days.  "Liverpool is a good team, a fantastic team with good work ethics", Vardy told reporters.  "We can stop them playing our game, stopping the cross from Arnold and Robo and probably limit the spaces their front three need to attack." Asked about Liverpool's trip to Doha will affect their fitness, Vardy added: "I don't think that comes to it at all.  "Every professional footballer...

Injury blow: Pep Guardiola confirms Ederson will miss Liverpool clash

Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Ederson will miss the trip to Anfield due to any injury..  He will be replaced by Claudio Bravo who he says is a good keeper and a two times Copa America winner with Chile.  Asked during his press conference if Ederson will be fit for the clash, Guardiola said: "He is not able to play tomorrow.  "On Sunday he cannot play. We have another top keeper. We won the Carabao Cup and FA Cup thanks to Claudio. He is an exceptional goalkeeper".  Asked if Manchester City are not vulnerable without Ederson deputizing in-between the sticks, Klopp replied angrily.  "Why should i not be confident about my players and my team? Why do you like ask me this questions? "I see him every day in training. We won't lose from Claudio. You have to respect him. He won the Copa America, respect that guy, he's an incredible goalkeeper".

Can Liverpool star Andrew Robertson stop Wolves superstar Adama Traore?

What a player Adama Traore has turned into in just five weeks.. The 23-year-old has developed into one of Europe's electrifying winger.  He combines blistering pace with his power and outstanding physical strength.. Against Manchester City he was unplayable, difficult to stop and a threat whenever he gets the ball.  Watching Pep Guardiola closely you could see he was visibly shaken whenever Traore was on the run and skipping past his players with ease. He did score the first goal, assisted the second and had a hand in the third goal.  The 23-year-old Spaniard was unplayable and City just realized that. His next opponent is Liverpool and Andrew Robertson at the famous Stadium Anfield.  Can Andrew Robertson match him for pace and power? Can he really stop Traore when he actives his beat mode. If Robertson fails, Liverpool will surely lose at Anfield for the first time in 2 years, that i can assure you.
