Pep Guardiola has revealed he had more things to worry about than watching Manchester United battle with Liverpool at Old Trafford.
Guardiola didn't watch the game cause he felt like many other manager that Liverpool was just superior to United if they were to play their best team {with Mohamed Salah} in it.
It did end 1-1 and Guardiola will be happy to know his team are now 6 points adrift of Liverpool.
Asked what he thought about the clash between Liverpool and Manchester United, Guardiola replied:
"I didn't watch it", Guardiola said during his press conference. "This game with Atalanta is enough. Yesterday i was engaged in personal issues".
Focusing on Gasperini and Atalanta, he said:
"What i said about Sarri i could say about Gasperini, i was lucky enough to meet him before.
"Having seen what Atalanta did last year and what they're doing this season is incredible. It's a great joy to watch his team play, they're brave, they respect their supporters. The way they play is unusual, they take quite a few risk".
Atalanta are the highest scoring team is Seria A and they will pose a serious threat to Manchester City who they meet next in the Champions League.
