Manchester United captain Ashley Young will not be joining Inter Milan next summer neither will he be signing a pre-contract agreement with other clubs having be given a one-year contract extension. Right now, everything depends on Messi and how fit he is. He is expected to be back against Inter Milan and once again lead Barcelona to victory.
Leo is the world best player, some might agree with that statement others might disagree but ever since he burst into the world scene 15 years ago, he has always been and continues to be the best.
Most Barcelona coach have been tempted to let Messi do everything but the smart one's realized over time that Messi is not the team but just an integral part of it.
They understood they have to promote talented players from their academy {Andres Iniesta, Xavi Hernandez, Sergio Busquet, Gerard Pique and so on..} or sign superstars like {Ivan Rakitic, Jordi Alba, Ter- Stegan, Luis Suarez and others} to help Messi and Barcelona win big trophies.
But strangely that thinking has failing aside as the club keep spending heavily on average players who more or less useful to Messi. Which means, Messi has to do everything, he had to single-handily win Barcelona games and titles which he did but it came at a cost.
It might that Messi overworked himself until his body gave up which is one of the reason he occasionally breaking down with injuries this season.
Added to this, Messi is psychologically weighed down due to the thought of having to carry Barcelona again on his shoulder this season which has slowed down his healing process. His body is willing but his mind is not.
Depending on a exceptional player to win you games is always encouraged but when that player keep doing that over time, it turns the whole team to one man club which presently describes Barcelona.
Marco Materrazzi was right with his assertion that Barcelona is one man team and have lost their fear factor. Beating them now is not all about stopping Lionel Messi {he is occasionally injured and unfit} just hope the fantastic Marc ter Stegan make one or two mistakes.
