De Bruyne reveals Manchester City most underrated player

Kevin de Bruyne has lauded praises on Fernandinho who he says is the club's most underrated player.  Fernandinho impact at City have been huge, he is arguably the club's best defensive midfielder and the one of the top 3 defensive midfielders in world football.  But as he ages, Pep Guardiola decided it was time he switched from a more defensive role into a full blow centre-back which has impressed De Bruyne.  Asked about his vice-captain, De Bruyne said: "Dinho can play everywhere. Since i came here he's been really under-rated", he told Sky Sports.  "For me he was one of the best defensive midfielders in the world, and now he just comes in as central defender and does what he does.  "Props to him, because obviously he is 35 and it's not easy to play a new position, especially when you've never done it in the 14 years before that".  Fernandinho is on course to sign a one year contract with Manchester City.

He is coming to Old Trafford! Arturo Vidal set to join Manchester United

Manchester United are reportedly in the race to sign Barcelona superstar Arturo Vidal.  According to Italian paper, Corriere della Sera, the midfielder's agent Fernando Felicevich is currently in Europe to discuss with various clubs who are interested in signing Vidal. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer remains a huge fan of the combative midfielder who will certainly add steel and bite to United's porous and lackadaisical midfielder.  Signing the 32-year-old won't be cheap though, he will cost United £17m despite having a year and six months left to run in his contract.  Asked about Barcelona and his lack of game time, he said: "It is not me who makes the decision on if i play or not, that is down to the coach", he told reporters.  "But the people will see int he end and i am calm because i just want to keep malign the most of the opportunities given to me and to carry on aiming to win titles and lift trophies in the future".  Vidal is the first and only pla...

CAF Awards: Is Sadio Mane really better than Man City star Riyad Mahrez

Its difficult to understand why Sadio Mane is the 2019 Africa Footballer of the Year whereas Riyad Mahrez lifted more trophies than him in Europe {4 to 1} and edge past in the final of the Africa Cup of Nation.  Mahrez helped Algeria win the Africa Cup for the Nation for the first time in 25-years which frankly should be enough to make him Africa's best player. He was simply unstoppable in Egypt and his three goals and 4 assists ensured Algeria where champions not Senegal or host nation Egypt.  CAF's decision to pick Sadio Mane ahead of Riyad Mahrez is simply because of Liverpool's winning streak and his immerse contribution to their course and nothing else. The organizing body failed to see the impact of Mahrez during league and cup matches with Manchester City as well as his world class impact during the just concluded Africa Cup of Nation.  With Algeria, he was simply unstoppable, he created more chances than Mane and Salah combined and scored the needed goals...

Should Manchester City pay £80m for Leicester City defender Caglar Soyuncu?

Leicester City has reportedly rejected Manchester City's £38m bid to sign their highly rated defender Caglar Soyuncu.  According to the Sun, the foxes want City to up their bid to £80-90m for the 23-year-old Turkish international who they feel possess similar quality to Harry Maguire {£80m} and Virgil van Dijk {£75m}.  Soyuncu is without doubt a top football who is growing in strength and stature under the tutelage of Brendan Rodgers. But with City struggling in their defensive unit due to injuries to their top defenders Aymeric Laporte and John Stones, the need to sign a defender is now a priority.  But signing Soyuncu for £80m looks too desperate and a to many a complete waste of money.  So should City sign him for £80m or less?

West Ham in advanced negotiation to sign Liverpool defender

West Ham are reportedly closing in on signing Liverpool fullback Nathaniel Clyne.  The 27-year-old England international have found it difficult holding down a regular playing berth under Jurgen Klopp due to injuries and fatigue problems.  In fact, his biggest problem now is Trent Alexander Arnold- that boy is simply world class.  He is Liverpool's most creative player and the one player who creates more goal-scoring chances that the entire midfield combined.  To further prove his worth, he has a Guinness  World Record for the Most by a defender {22}. This season he already has 9.  Clyne will cost any team interested in his service $12m to sign including West Ham.

Confirmed: Real Madrid in advanced talk to sign Paul Pogba

Chris Walder warns Liverpool: Sheffield United won't lose at Anfield

Chris Wilder has lauded praises on Liverpool and their iconic stadium 'Anfield' but warns, that his team aren't coming to Merseyside to lose like others.  Liverpool haven't lost a game in 52 matches neither have they lost a match at Anfield since April 2017. This season, they've won 17 games and drawn just once to Manchester United.. Powerful!  But, Sheffield United also boast a remarkable record. They've suffered just one away defeat to Manchester City which many believe was enabled by referee Chris Kavanagh.  Wilder believe Liverpool will be tough but his team can give them a fight.  "Going to Anfield, iconic stadium, fabulous experience, everything that Liverpool bring to the English game", Walder said during his press conference.  "They are the most powerful, historic of clubs in our game and going so well.  "But we'd like to put a little bump in their road, as we tried to do at Manchester City".

10 years without a trophy! Its time Harry Kane ditch Tottenham Hotspur

Last season was memorable, Tottenham Hotspur were very close to lifting their first ever Champions League trophy. If they had won it, Spurs would've been the dream club of every elite player.  Superstars all over the world would've joined at the opportunity to play for them while the likes of Christian Eriksen, Vertonghen, Ross and others won't hesitate to extend their contract. But the defeat to Liverpool was sour and the bitter taste have lingered on till this very day.  Spurs have dropped to a level of mediocrity never seen before and questions are beginning to be asked about the manager's commitment to the club's course as well as players.  The top players are running down their contract with the view of moving else where there's a realistic chance of winning trophies.  That idea of leaving has gobsmacked Harry Kane who now knows he might never win a single trophy with Spurs despite having Mauricio Pochettino as his manager.  Why? Tott...

Say no to Racism! Bulgaria fans and crazy people have no place in football

Another day, another devastating blow to the struggle to end racism in football.  The embarrassing display from Bulgaria fans showed why FIFA and the European governing body must take a stuff stand on doing something about racism.  Nobody wants to be called a monkey neither do they want to remember  the history of their forefathers been hanged and burnt for been black by the KKK. Football is a beautiful game, a game which combines passion, tactics, brawls, near misses and goals to give you almost perfect result. Although, this combinations can be beautiful if it goes you're way and negative if you team is losing especially if its a 6-0 hammering.  Bulgaria were beaten mercilessly by England and the aftermath from the fans was the monkey chants and Nazi salutes. Its was a black lash from the fans who were disgusted with watching England's world class team carve them open time after time. If the three lions had taken their chances, they would've w...

Fabinho could miss Manchester City clash: So should Liverpool rest him against Aston Villa?

Fabinho might have struggled for 5-6 months to make Liverpool's first team when he first arrived but now, he is one of those names Jurgen Klopp never omits in the first team..  He plays every game nowadays and makes key contributions to the team's game plan. His tackles, interceptions and dynamism remains one of the key reasons Liverpool are yet to lose a Premier League game this season.  But, the Brazilian tackles haven't been always good and have resulted to four yellow cards. If he picks up another against Aston Villa he will miss Liverpool's title deciding clash against Manchester City at Anfield.  No disrespect to Aston Villa, they're a good team but Liverpool don't really need Fabinho in the team to win.. Its going to tough no doubt about that, but the likes of Jordan Henderson and James Milner can play in his position and Liverpool will still win.  So should Liverpool play him or rest for the penultimate clash with Manchester City?

Oh no! David de Gea set to miss Manchester United vs Liverpool clash

Spain might have qualified to the Euro 2020 after picking up a hard fought point but it did come at a cost.  Manchester United star David De Gea is reportedly suffering from a groin injury and will certainly miss Liverpool's clash schedule to be played on Sunday.  His injury is a big blow for United who must stop Liverpool from winning at Old Trafford cause a defeat could see them drop into the relegation zone and further pile the pressure on Ole Gunnar Solsjear.  United who have started their worst league opening in 30yrs will be 18 points from Liverpool after just 9 games and could be sacking a second manager in just 3 years.

Liverpool could be losing one of its tried and tested superstar Adam Lallana whose contract runs down in the summer.  The 31-year-old will have the option to sign a pre-contract agreement with any club of his choice on Wednesday when the January transfer window opens.  According to the Telegraph, Jurgen Klopp still wants him in the team and will offer him a year contract at the end of the summer.  Lallana meanwhile has told friends he wants more football under his belt having recovered from years of persistent injuries and fatigue.  If the midfielder those leave Liverpool, he will leave as a Champions League winner, a Club World Cup winner, a Super Cup winner and soon, a Premier League winner.  The question now remains should Liverpool sell him or offer him a one year contract?

Breaking: Two Liverpool defender to miss Champions League clash with Genk

Trent Alexander- Arnold will miss Liverpool's trip to Switzerland after picking up a knock during training.  The Guinness World holder for the most assist by a defender in a single league campaign will now be replaced by James Milner or Joe Gomez. Why?  Liverpool do not have a like for like replacement for the full backs neither do they've for the wingers. Andy Robertson, Alexander Arnold, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane do not have quality replacement.. But rather makeshift players who can put in a shift and get the result until their back.  Another news coming in from Melwood is that Joel Matip have missed today's training season and could also miss the trip to Switzerland.  Matip is reportedly suffering from cramps and could miss the clash..  In his absence, Klopp will certainly call on Dejan Lovren who played very well against Leicester City in which Liverpool went on to win 2-1.  Liverpool have played two Champions League matches, losing one ...

Every footballer will want to play for them now".  Mbappe move to Anfield could be triggered in two ways; first by Liverpool's next kit sponsor Nike- who the brand ambassador Kylian Mbappe.  Secondly, his good relationship with Fabinho{ who was his former teammates back in Monaco} and Daniel Sturridge who revealed in Instagram that Mbappe loves his trademark celebration.  "Serious baller K Mbappe. Can Liverpool star Andrew Robertson stop Wolves superstar Adama Traore?

What a player Adama Traore has turned into in just five weeks.. The 23-year-old has developed into one of Europe's electrifying winger.  He combines blistering pace with his power and outstanding physical strength.. Against Manchester City he was unplayable, difficult to stop and a threat whenever he gets the ball.  Watching Pep Guardiola closely you could see he was visibly shaken whenever Traore was on the run and skipping past his players with ease. He did score the first goal, assisted the second and had a hand in the third goal.  The 23-year-old Spaniard was unplayable and City just realized that. His next opponent is Liverpool and Andrew Robertson at the famous Stadium Anfield.  Can Andrew Robertson match him for pace and power? Can he really stop Traore when he actives his beat mode. If Robertson fails, Liverpool will surely lose at Anfield for the first time in 2 years, that i can assure you.

Fact or fiction: Is Liverpool becoming dependent on Sadio Mane?

Sadio Mane is the world's best left back, debatable, but a vast majority of Liverpool fans will agree that he is outstanding and a leader in front of the pack.  He fights for the team; puts his body on the line to get maximum points and wouldn't mind picking a fight with his teammates, opposition and even the coaching staff. Mane is born winner and his display proves it.  Former Tottenham and Manchester Untied forward Garth Crooks feels Liverpool are relying heavily on the Senegalese international.  Why, he has scored nine goals and providing three assists in 14 appearances and he was the reason they defeated Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield. Both games would've ended draws had Mane not gone down in the box.  Mane just knows Liverpool won't win it if he doesn't put his body on the line and he those.  "Two seasons ago it was Mohamed Salah who was carrying Liverpool", Crooks told BBC Sports.  "Last season it was Virgil van Di...
