Manchester United fans react angrily to Ashley Young's one year contract extension

Manchester United captain Ashley Young will not be joining Inter Milan next summer neither will he be signing a pre-contract agreement with other clubs having be given a one-year contract extension.  Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a huge fan of the 34-year-old and feels his presence at the club will be useful to the younger players in the team.  Although, the decision to keep him at the club haven't gone down well with fan who vented angrily on different social medias.  Some of the tweet reads; "How the might have fallen.. "  Another aggrieved post reads: "The more Man U fans want to escape the more the owners give them pain".  Another reads: "This Ole and Co. are really taking us for granted. You can't be renewing Ashley's contract while there are real loopholes to cover.. it's getting out of hand".  Sad ones goes this way: "Why, just why would you do that? Champions of the World Liverpool dominate EA Sports Team of the Year

As expected, Liverpool have dominated the EA Sports Team of the Year with five of thier senior players making the list.

 Alisson Becker, Trent Alexander Arnold, Andy Robertson, Sadio Mane and the main star Virgil van Dijk all made the FIFA 2020 Team of the Year in collaboration with EA Sports.   

 Noticeable exception in the list include Cristiano Ronaldo, Raheem Sterling, Harry Kane, Heung Son Min, Lucas Moura, Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, Joel Matip, Giogio Cheillini and Gigi Buffon.

Injury blow: Pep Guardiola confirms Ederson will miss Liverpool clash

Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Ederson will miss the trip to Anfield due to any injury..  He will be replaced by Claudio Bravo who he says is a good keeper and a two times Copa America winner with Chile.  Asked during his press conference if Ederson will be fit for the clash, Guardiola said: "He is not able to play tomorrow.  "On Sunday he cannot play. We have another top keeper. We won the Carabao Cup and FA Cup thanks to Claudio. He is an exceptional goalkeeper".  Asked if Manchester City are not vulnerable without Ederson deputizing in-between the sticks, Klopp replied angrily.  "Why should i not be confident about my players and my team? Why do you like ask me this questions? "I see him every day in training. We won't lose from Claudio. You have to respect him. He won the Copa America, respect that guy, he's an incredible goalkeeper".

Mane, Salah, Alisson or Van Dijk: Which Liverpool player deserve to win the Ballon d'Or?

For the first time in history, seven Liverpool players have made the shortlist of the Ballon d'Or.  Alisson Becker, Van Dijk, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Trent Alexander Arnold and Gini Wijnaldum have all made the list but the list don't feel right.  They're Liverpool players that really deserve to be that list. The likes of Andrew Robertson who is currently the best left back in the world contributed 11 assists with 2 goals last season en-route to Liverpool winning the Champions League and the UEFA Super Cup should've been included.  Joel Matip also deserve to be included. His the best 'right centre back' in the world and the only defender capable of dribbling past defenders while marauding forward.  There's no other defender in world football who can take the ball from the back, skip past two or three defenders before lying out a pass or shooting accurately to goal.
