Manchester United captain Ashley Young will not be joining Inter Milan next summer neither will he be signing a pre-contract agreement with other clubs having be given a one-year contract extension. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a huge fan of the 34-year-old and feels his presence at the club will be useful to the younger players in the team. Although, the decision to keep him at the club haven't gone down well with fan who vented angrily on different social medias. Some of the tweet reads; "How the might have fallen.. " Another aggrieved post reads: "The more Man U fans want to escape the more the owners give them pain". Another reads: "This Ole and Co. are really taking us for granted. You can't be renewing Ashley's contract while there are real loopholes to cover.. it's getting out of hand". Sad ones goes this way: "Why, just why would you do that? He is part of the dead wood that they need clearing out "This
Consistency, defensive solidity, rhythm, intensity and loads of goals pretty much sums of Liverpool at moment.
The Reds defeated Chelsea 2-0 at Stamford Bridge thanks to a sensational free-kick from Alexander Arnold before a brilliant header from Firmino.
Chelsea did pull back a goal through N'Golo Kante before they're inability to finish off chances might Liverpool where going ot make it 15 consecutive wins in a spin and their 7 away victory in the Premier League.
Here are the five things we learned:
1. Liverpool can't keep clean sheets-
Liverpool's 3-0 win over Burnley is the only clean sheet they've managed to keep all season which frankly needs to improve.
Jurgen Klopp might now care at the moment but he knows if he is to win the Champions League he has to keep clean sheets at home and score away
2. Chelsea must ditch zonal marking and focus on man to man marking-
The ease in which Roberto Firmino scored Liverpool's first goal of the night and almost doubled it should worry Frank Lampard.
Zonal marking at the moment don't work for his team, he has to tell his team to mark man to man as well as clear aerial balls.
3. Fikayo Tomori has the potential to become a world class defender-
Tomori was absolutely sibilant against Liverpool as kept Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino quiet for most part of the game.
Salah didn't have sniff at goal thanks to Tomori whose pace, power and intelligence got the better off the defender.
There's no doubt, he will become a world class defender and hopefully, it will be at Chelsea.
4. Liverpool have what it takes to win the Premier League title-
Liverpool are good enough to match Manchester City in quality and display and their win over Chelsea goes to prove they're Premier League contenders.
City might prove they're impossible to stop but this present Liverpool team is just as good as them.
5. Chelsea will finish in the top 4-
Frank Lampard's Chelsea team will finish in the top 4 and probably fight for the FA Cup or the Caraboa Cup.
They've the quality and squad to go all the way and hopefully, Lampard will stay longer than his current contract.
