Manchester United fans react angrily to Ashley Young's one year contract extension

Manchester United captain Ashley Young will not be joining Inter Milan next summer neither will he be signing a pre-contract agreement with other clubs having be given a one-year contract extension.  Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a huge fan of the 34-year-old and feels his presence at the club will be useful to the younger players in the team.  Although, the decision to keep him at the club haven't gone down well with fan who vented angrily on different social medias.  Some of the tweet reads; "How the might have fallen.. "  Another aggrieved post reads: "The more Man U fans want to escape the more the owners give them pain".  Another reads: "This Ole and Co. are really taking us for granted. Joel Matip: The Liverpool unsung hero setting the world on fire


What a player Joel Matip has turn out to be be. The former Schalke 04 defender has grown in stature and class and without doubt, one of the best defender in the world. 

 His partnership with Van Dijk have been sensational, both men have created the perfect platform for Liverpool to win 16 consecutive matches on the spin.

 Liverpool are yet to lose a game in their opening seven matches of the season and that success is completely down to Matip and his defensive partners who ensures they limit the number of goals going in while contributing upfront. 

 They're times this season when Van Dijk have really struggled to impose himself on the game but thanks to the presence of Matip whose tackles are timely; aerial prowess sensational and ball distribution phenomenal, Van Dijk have been left off the hook. 

 What makes Matip very special is that he is the only defender in the world who dribbles his way past players when surging forward. Matip can dribble past 3 to 4 players while blazing through before laying off an incisive pass to score a goal. 

 He has scored 3 goals this season and provided 1 assists in all competition this season. Statistically, he has won more aerial duels, physical battles and won more interceptions than any other defender in Europe's five top leagues. 

 He is the best piece of business Liverpool have done in a long time and his manager Jurgen Klopp recently admitted the 26- year-old  Cameroonian is a world class defender. 

 This season Liverpool are hoping to win the Premier League title along with retaining the Champions League and if their to achieve that fate, they've to keep Joel Matip  fresh and motivated.

Liverpool 2-1 Crystal: Firmino is no average striker and 5 things we learnt

Pay €140m and his yours! Dortmund offers Jadon Sancho to Liverpool

Borrusia Dortmund has reportedly named their asking price for Jadon Sancho who is quickly developing into a world class forward.  According to Bild, Dortmund wants €140m for their highly rated forward cause they feel he is worth more than Ousmane Dembele who left the club to join Spanish giants Barcelona back in 2017 for €109m.  Why? Sancho isn't just fast and technically good, he posses a good eye for goal, can link up well brilliantly and can play in the flanks and the middle.  Liverpool aren't the only club interested in his service, the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, PSG, Juventus and even his former club Manchester City have all made inquires about the player.

10 years without a trophy! Its time Harry Kane ditch Tottenham Hotspur

Last season was memorable, Tottenham Hotspur were very close to lifting their first ever Champions League trophy. Can Manchester United really get a point or a win against Liverpool at Old Trafford?

How do you beat Liverpool? A question Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his coaching staff will have to find a solution in just two weeks time.  That solution to beating Liverpool will save Solskjaer job, reinvigorate his team and off course, make the blue half of Manchester love him.. Mane, Salah, Alisson or Van Dijk: Which Liverpool player deserve to win the Ballon d'Or?

For the first time in history, seven Liverpool players have made the shortlist of the Ballon d'Or.  Alisson Becker, Van Dijk, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Trent Alexander Arnold and Gini Wijnaldum have all made the list but the list don't feel right.  They're Liverpool players that really deserve to be that list. Pre-contract agreed! Christian Eriksen heading to Manchester United

Tottenham star Christian Ericksen could be heading to Manchester United this summer reports The Telegraph. Ericksen's contract ends in six months time and he has no intention of extending it.  Next month, he will be given the option to sign a pre-contract agreement with any club of his choice be it Real Madrid, PSG, Juventus or even Manchester United.  But again, Spurs Chairman Daniel Levy will be reaching out to clubs in China or the Middle East to sign Ericksen knowing that meet his askign price { £40m } and even pay more for his service.  As far as know, Ericksen has no interest in going outside of Europe, he wants to win big trophies having spent 6 years at Spurs with just a single cup to show for it- the Caraboa Cup.

The Reds are unstoppable and 5 things we learnt in Liverpool's 2-0 win over Chelsea
