Manchester United fans react angrily to Ashley Young's one year contract extension

Manchester United captain Ashley Young will not be joining Inter Milan next summer neither will he be signing a pre-contract agreement with other clubs having be given a one-year contract extension.  Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a huge fan of the 34-year-old and feels his presence at the club will be useful to the younger players in the team.  Although, the decision to keep him at the club haven't gone down well with fan who vented angrily on different social medias.  Some of the tweet reads; "How the might have fallen.. "  Another aggrieved post reads: "The more Man U fans want to escape the more the owners give them pain".  Another reads: "This Ole and Co. are really taking us for granted. Injury blow for Napoli! Lorenzo Insigne to miss Liverpool clash

Lorenzo Insigne will miss the Champions League between Liverpool and Napoli after pickign up an elbow injury. 

 The striker sustained the injury in Napoli's 1-1 draw with AC Milan and will now miss trip to Anfield. His absence will be largely felt knowing he has developed a knack in scoring goals against Liverpool. 

 Napoli squad to face Liverpool: Goalkeepers- Meret, Karnezis, Ospina; Defenders- Di Lorenzo, Koulibaly, Mario Rui, Luperto, Manolas, Maksimovic, Hysaj; Midfielders- Allan, Elmas, Fabian, Gaetano, Zielinski; strikers- Llorente, Callejon, Mertens, Younes, Lozano. 

 Napoli will need a win to qualify to the round of 16 but beating Liverpool at Anfield is almost impossible. They last time they lost a game at Anfield was April 2017. Since then, they've played 44 matches, winning 38 and drawing 6.. Fortress!

Rafa Benitez reveals what will happen to Liverpool if they lose to Manchester City at Anfield

Former Liverpool coach Rafael Benitez is backing his former team to finally win the Premier League title.  Liverpool are unbeaten in the Premier League this season, they're six point clear of second placed Manchester City who they play next at Anfield.  A win will move them 9 points clear from the rest of the pack and further cement their hold in the League title. Did Alexander Arnold commit two penalties against Manchester City?

Liverpool might have beaten Manchester City 3-1 at Anfield but they were controversial moments that shocked the world of football including Pep Guardiola.  The Spanish tactician was visibly seen screaming his lungs out to the fourth official Mike Dean, alerting him that Trent Alexander Arnold has just committed not just once but two penalties.. Arnold first handled the ball in the build to Liverpool's first goal and later, repeated the same theatrics as City were desperately looking for a second goal to pin back Liverpool.  Guardiola has never been furious like this before and if not for his years experience he would've said something about Micheal Oliver, Trent Alexander Arnold, the VAR and even Anfield crowd that kept cheering despite seeing the fouls.  The game is over and the score line can't be revised so the question remains, did Arnold real commit a penalty against Manchester City?

The Reds are unstoppable and 5 things we learnt in Liverpool's 2-0 win over Chelsea

Consistency, defensive solidity, rhythm, intensity and loads of goals pretty much sums of Liverpool at moment.  The Reds defeated Chelsea 2-0 at Stamford Bridge thanks to a sensational free-kick from Alexander Arnold before a brilliant header from Firmino. He has become the second highest paid manager in world football after signing a 3-year contract with Tottenham Hotspur.  Mourinho will earn £15m-a-year, which is twice what Spurs paid their formal manager Mauricio Pochettino. Manchester United 1- 1 Liverpool: Marcus Rashford is a beast and 5 things we learnt

For a while it felt like Manchester United were superior to Liverpool as their moved the ball much quicker, created good chances and opened the scoring through a magnificent ball to Marcus Rashford.  Rashford for one was just unstoppable, his energy, swagger and relentless running scared the death out of Liverpool's defense including Van Dijk who struggled all game to contain him.  He did score the goal that would've been the match winner but one area of judge from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer changed everything.  Taking off Rashford allowed Liverpool's defense to push forward and pile pressure on United's brittle back line.. It allowed Andrew Robertson cross a delicious ball into the 12-yard box which evaded everyone except Adam Lallana who needed just a tap in to score and restore parity.  Although, Liverpool did have the lion share of possession but without their star man, Mohamed Salah to stretch United defense, they really struggled to create chances....
