Manchester United captain Ashley Young will not be joining Inter Milan next summer neither will he be signing a pre-contract agreement with other clubs having be given a one-year contract extension. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a huge fan of the 34-year-old and feels his presence at the club will be useful to the younger players in the team. Although, the decision to keep him at the club haven't gone down well with fan who vented angrily on different social medias. Some of the tweet reads; "How the might have fallen.. Kevin De Bruyne has bruised aside the popular notion that Manchester City will always lose at Anfield when they face Liverpool.
City are yet to win at Anfield since 2003 but De Bruyne thinks its all meaningless statistics that will be ended on Sunday.
A draw at Anfield will be ok but a win will be fantastic for Pep Guardiola and City who will close the gap to 3 points and pile pressure on Liverpool. But a defeat will hand the initiative to Liverpool who will move 9 points clear of the reigning champions.
Asked about the record, De Bruyne said: "What can a player do with statistics like this?" the midfielder asked reporters.
"It's for you guys to keep track, i don't care. The big games are the ones you want to play and win.
"I prefer to play in that than when there is nobody there. Professionals want to play in front of 50,50, 70, 80 thousand people and it makes it worthwhile. You train all your life to get to the big stages".
De Bruyne will certainly start and he will hoping to be the man to pull the strings and score the goals.
De Brunye is stubborn. Why??? Because he knew the Anfield atmosphere. Most players who talked like the way he talked had suffered there.
