Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp reveals who will replace 'injured Fabinho in midfield'

Liverpool FC have confirmed Fabinho will be sidelined for the next 6- 8 weeks with a ankle injury.

The Brazilian will miss roughly 10 games including the FIFA Club World Cup scheduled to be held in Qatar.

His absence will be felt, knowing he has developed into of the best holding midfielders in the world. But Liverpool have enough midfielders reckons Jurgen Klopp who has pinpointed 3 players who he think can play that role.

Naby Keita, Adam Lallana, Gini Wijnaldum and Jordan Henderson are the four players Klopp believe can play that role.

Realistically, only Jordan Henderson can play that role perfectly due to his physical strength, tenacious tackling and discipline..

"Naby is OK. No more injuries from Napoli other than Fabinho", Klopp told reporters during his press conference.

'It's an opportunity for someone, of course. Hendo, Gini and Lallana have all played it. We can system too. Losing a player of Fab's quality is a blow but we are not the only team with injuries."

Asked which player can replace the Brazilian, Klopp replied: "The three players I've mentioned have played there. They bring a different quality. Gini was brilliant against Napoli. Hendo has played there really, really good. We just have to make it work.

Revealed: Mo Salah is still injured with an ankle injury and now needs injections to play

Its difficult to  fathom the sort of pain Mohamed Salah goes through before and after playing a football match.  The Liverpool winger is still suffering an ankle injury sustained against Leicester City almost one moment. The culprit remains Hamaza Choudhury whose nasty challenge sent Salah to the ground in agony.  Sadly, Salah trains alone, the medical staff and coaches have tailored a specific training programmee for him in a bid to help him recover as quickly as possible. Before a game is played, the fluid in his ankle is drained and later he is injected with pain killers 'presumably' to reduce the pain he will feel.  Asked about Salah's injury, Jurgen Klopp said during his press conference: "He should be fine. He has had to do his individual stuff but he will be in training {on Friday}.  "I think it is more really annoying- for him, not me- the fact that the injury always has a bit of fluid in, and he has to deal with it, we get it out an...

Pep Guardiola praises Liverpool duo Alexander Arnold and Andy Robertson

Pep Guardiola has lauded praises on Liverpool' sensational fullback Trent Alexander Arnold and Andy Robertson.  Both fullbacks have provided the width and creativity currently lacking in Reds team midfield. They have created more assists than all of Liverpool midfielders combined {23 to 6}.  In fact, Arnold has a Guinness World Record for the most assist by a defender in a single season {13}.  Guardiola is fully aware of their attacking prowess and has decided to praise them.  "The quality they have. If you play high, they get in behind. They are so fast", Guardiola said during his press conference.  'Alexander-Arnold and Robertson are incredible crosses. They have fantastic headers, they win second balls. It's a real complete team".

De Bruyne warns: I don't care about the record at Anfield, we will beat Liverpool

Kevin De Bruyne has bruised aside the popular notion that Manchester City will always lose at Anfield when they face Liverpool.  City are yet to win at Anfield since 2003 but De Bruyne thinks its all meaningless statistics that will be ended on Sunday.  A draw at Anfield will be ok but a win will be fantastic for Pep Guardiola and City who will close the gap to 3 points and pile pressure on Liverpool. But a defeat will hand the initiative to Liverpool who will move 9 points clear of the reigning champions. Asked about the record, De Bruyne said: "What can a player do with statistics like this?" the midfielder asked reporters.  "It's for you guys to keep track, i don't care. The big games are the ones you want to play and win.  "I prefer to play in that than when there is nobody there. Professionals want to play in front of 50,50, 70, 80 thousand people and it makes it worthwhile. You train all your life to get to the big stages".  De Bruyne...

They scored two goals in seven minutes to clinch the winner through Andy Robertson and Sadio Mane.  Mane though was brilliant but Guardiola feels the Senegalese has developed the habit of going down too easily. He now play acts to win Liverpool games. He did it against Leicester City and then against Tottenham to give Liverpool all three points.   But against Aston Villa, Mane went down too easily which Pep Guardiola now feels he no play acts a lot.  "It has happened many times, what Liverpool have done, in the last few years, it's because {Sadio Mane} is a special talent", Guardiola told BBC Sport.  "Sometimes he's diving, sometimes he has this talent to sore incredible goals in the last minute. He's a talent". ...

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has reportedly sanctioned the sell of all his senior players after they bluntly refused to attend a training session scheduled to be held at the Castel Volturno training ground.  The training sesssion was meant to arrest their decline and help them keep pace with Juventus and Inter Milan who are pulling clear of the rest. Napoli are seventh in the Seria A table, 13 points behind Juventus after just 12 games.  The ring leader and captain of the team Lorenzo Insigne is free to leave Napoli this January if any club can offer $60m for his service. Crystal Palace reach verbal agreement to sign Liverpool striker on-loan

Crystal Palace have reached verbal agreement to sign Liverpool striker Rhian Brewster on loan reports the SUN.  The 19-year-old is yet to play a Premier League match with Liverpool this season but, Roy Hodgson feels he has what it takes to compete with Jordan Ayew, Christian Benteke and Connor Wickham as an out-and-out striker.  Sending out on-loan will certainly be good for his development but, Liverpool currently don't have favourable fixture list.. Their matches are tight and congested which Jurgen Klopp have recently hit out against..  He has even threatened to boycott the quarter final of the Caraboa Cup if the organizing body don't find a reasonable date for the clash with Aston Villa. At the moment, the Caraboa Cup remains the only tournament Brewster dons a Liverpool jersey and plays for the full ninety minutes.  Brewster is currently wanted by Crystal Palace, Swansea, Bristol City and some mid-table clubs in Germany.

Redknapp: Pep Guardiola is not 'playing mind games, he is afraid of SADIO MANE'

Former Liverpool midfielder Jamie Redknapp has bruised aside the assertion that Pep Guardiola was playing mind games or attempting to have dig at Sadio Mane.  Guardiola is afraid of Sadio Mane knowing he is Liverpool's most dangerous player. The Senegalese international is the star man at Anfield, he has scored 10 goals with 6 assists in just 15 games this season..  He has contributed to 7 wins this season by either scoring the winning goal or having a hand in scoring the winner. Redknapp feels Pep Guardiola is very worried about Mane and the danger he will pose when City visit Anfield in the weekend.  "Hearing Pep Guardiola mention Sadio Mane and diving was surprising", Redknapp told Daily Mail. "It is unusual to hear a manager say that about a rival player, but i don't think it was Guardiola trying to wind up Mane ahead of this Sunday's showdown at Anfield. It wasn't an attempt at mind games, or a deliberate dig. I believe Guardiola genuinely f...

Messi explains why Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola is the best manager in the world!

Barcelona's greatest player Lionel Messi has rated Pep Guardiola has the best manager he has worked with.  Under the tutelage of Guardiola, Messi went on to win 14 trophies in 4 years including Barcelona's first ever treble {the La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Champions League}. Barcelona is the only team in La Liga history to achieve that fate. They won the treble two times in history {2008 and 2015}.  Guardiola's impact at Barcelona and Spain was massive. He introduced a revolutionary brand of football tiki-taka that confused not just his competitors in Spain but Europe and the rest of the world.  Barca dominated domestic football for four years while Spain won the World Cup {2010} and the European Championship {2008 and 2012}.. All that success was achieved in Guardiola's four year sting at Barcelona. Today, Spain can't even reach the semi final of a major competition nor can Barcelona reach a major European final.  Messi believes Guardiola and Luis ...

Jurgen Klopp reveals three areas Liverpool must improve

Salzburg's sensational comeback to draw Liverpool 3-3 before losing 4-3 have stunned not just the fans who watched the exhilarating match but Jurgen Klopp who feels something has to change.  The gaffer had to withdraw his captain Jordan Henderson whose side ways and backward passing killed of the momentum attack as well as Gini Wijnaldum who struggled to impose himself on the game.  He replaced Henderson with James Milner to provide the steel and combativeness in midfield and Divock Origi to provide more firepower upfront. The substitution did work as Liverpool were able to score in 69th minute thanks to Mohamed Salah's well taken strike. But Klopp has revealed he wants three things to change in the team:  1. The defense must be alert at all times-  Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk didn't click at all and saw Liverpool concede three avoidable goals. Although the first goal was sensational but the remaining two could've been cleared if Joel Mati...

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has dismissed the claim from Pep Guardiola his star striker Sadio Mane is a diver.  Mane has twice gone down in the box to win Liverpool penalties against Leicester City and Tottenham Htospur but against Aston Villa, his simulation was just too obvious and that earned him a booking..  Guardiola watched his dive and felt Mane though posses the talent to score unbelievable goals but sometimes he dives.  Jurgen Klopp was asked if Pep Guardiola was right to assert Sadio Mane is a diver and he replied:  "I am not in a Manchester City mood at the moment", Klopp said during his press conference.  "I am 100% sure he only talks about Sadio. Don't know how he could have known about the incident so soon after the game. Sadio is not a diver! Contact at Villa, no penalty but was contact. Not like he jumped over".  Focusing on Manchester City clash, Klopp added: "I don't think about Manchester City, i don't have to tell...
