Manchester United fans react angrily to Ashley Young's one year contract extension

Manchester United captain Ashley Young will not be joining Inter Milan next summer neither will he be signing a pre-contract agreement with other clubs having be given a one-year contract extension.  Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a huge fan of the 34-year-old and feels his presence at the club will be useful to the younger players in the team.  Although, the decision to keep him at the club haven't gone down well with fan who vented angrily on different social medias.  Some of the tweet reads; "How the might have fallen.. "  Another aggrieved post reads: "The more Man U fans want to escape the more the owners give them pain".  Another reads: "This Ole and Co. are really taking us for granted. De Gea fires warning shots at Man City: We can beat them there

David de Gea feels the present Manchester United team have the potential to go the Etihad Stadium and pick all three points. 

 United were outstanding against Spurs, they moved the ball intricately, created the best chances and scored two goals to win the tie. Marcus Rashford was yet again the man of the match as he scored two goals and had one shoot crash the bar. 

 Although, the Etihad Stadium is no easy place to win and De Gea knows United must exceptionally good to beat their once noisy neigbours. 

 "I think we controlled the game really well. It's a massive win for us and let's see if we can keep this level up and keep wining", De Gea told reporters. 

 "It's a special game against Manchester City- the derby. Let's see if we can win there. 

 "It's a tough game, but if we show the same as we did against Spurs, i think we have chances to win". 

 City will play United next and De Gea will be in contention to start.

De Bruyne warns: I don't care about the record at Anfield, we will beat Liverpool

Kevin De Bruyne has bruised aside the popular notion that Manchester City will always lose at Anfield when they face Liverpool.  City are yet to win at Anfield since 2003 but De Bruyne thinks its all meaningless statistics that will be ended on Sunday.  A draw at Anfield will be ok but a win will be fantastic for Pep Guardiola and City who will close the gap to 3 points and pile pressure on Liverpool. But a defeat will hand the initiative to Liverpool who will move 9 points clear of the reigning champions. Jurgen Klopp reveals three areas Liverpool must improve

Salzburg's sensational comeback to draw Liverpool 3-3 before losing 4-3 have stunned not just the fans who watched the exhilarating match but Jurgen Klopp who feels something has to change.  The gaffer had to withdraw his captain Jordan Henderson whose side ways and backward passing killed of the momentum attack as well as Gini Wijnaldum who struggled to impose himself on the game.  He replaced Henderson with James Milner to provide the steel and combativeness in midfield and Divock Origi to provide more firepower upfront. Did Alexander Arnold commit two penalties against Manchester City?

Liverpool might have beaten Manchester City 3-1 at Anfield but they were controversial moments that shocked the world of football including Pep Guardiola.  The Spanish tactician was visibly seen screaming his lungs out to the fourth official Mike Dean, alerting him that Trent Alexander Arnold has just committed not just once but two penalties.. Arnold first handled the ball in the build to Liverpool's first goal and later, repeated the same theatrics as City were desperately looking for a second goal to pin back Liverpool.  Guardiola has never been furious like this before and if not for his years experience he would've said something about Micheal Oliver, Trent Alexander Arnold, the VAR and even Anfield crowd that kept cheering despite seeing the fouls.  The game is over and the score line can't be revised so the question remains, did Arnold real commit a penalty against Manchester City?

Jurgen Klopp responds to Liverpool fans urging him to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Jurgen Klopp has admitted he would've signed Zlatan Ibrahimovic this January had he not played for Manchester United before. The gaffer though feels Ibrahimovic won't want to come to Liverpool due to their intense style of playing coupled with consistent running.. Manchester City set to sign Barcelona's $45m rated defender Samuel Umtiti

Manchester City have reportedly closing in on signing Barcelona's central defender Samuel Umtiti.  The 26-year-old France international has struggled for regular playing berth under Ernesto Valverde having suffered series of injuries in the past as well as lacking the pace, power and defensive nous of his replacement-  Clement Lenglet.  According to L'Equipe, Umtiti could be heading to the Etihad Stadium having reached verbal agreement with the club.  Pep Guardiola is a big fan of the defender and wouldn't mind spending $45m to sign the France World Cup winning defender.

Borrusia Dortmund has reportedly named their asking price for Jadon Sancho who is quickly developing into a world class forward.  According to Bild, Dortmund wants €140m for their highly rated forward cause they feel he is worth more than Ousmane Dembele who left the club to join Spanish giants Barcelona back in 2017 for €109m.  Why? Sancho isn't just fast and technically good, he posses a good eye for goal, can link up well brilliantly and can play in the flanks and the middle.  Liverpool aren't the only club interested in his service, the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, PSG, Juventus and even his former club Manchester City have all made inquires about the player.

Roy Hodgson reveals what Crystal Palace must do to beat Liverpool
