Manchester United fans react angrily to Ashley Young's one year contract extension

Manchester United captain Ashley Young will not be joining Inter Milan next summer neither will he be signing a pre-contract agreement with other clubs having be given a one-year contract extension.  Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a huge fan of the 34-year-old and feels his presence at the club will be useful to the younger players in the team.  Although, the decision to keep him at the club haven't gone down well with fan who vented angrily on different social medias.  Some of the tweet reads; "How the might have fallen.. "  Another aggrieved post reads: "The more Man U fans want to escape the more the owners give them pain".  Another reads: "This Ole and Co. are really taking us for granted. You can't be renewing Ashley's contract while there are real loopholes to cover.. it's getting out of hand".  Sad ones goes this way: "Why, just why would you do that? He is part of the dead wood that they need clearing out "This ...

Chelsea vs Liverpool: where the game will be lost and won

Image
The blockbuster encounter between Chelsea vs Liverpool will see two of Europe's finest teams pelt their wits and tricks against each other.

Frank Lampard youthful side will be hoping to become the first team in 15 attempts to Liverpool's juggernaut from taking all three points in the Premier League. But achieving that fate won't be easy and Lampard knows it.

Lampard and his coaching team know they have to stop Liverpool's world class attacking trio of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane from scoring. Those three have scored 16 of the 21 goals Liverpool have scored in their opening 5 matches of this season.

If Chelsea can stop those three from scoring, their chances of winning the game jumps from 35% to 75%.

Secondly, Lampard also knows Liverpool's midfield is made up of three aggressive tacklers and incessant runners who will press Jorginho, Ross Barkley or N'Golo Kante {if that's possible} to win the ball back and launch a quick counter attacker.

But Chelsea already have good midfielders who will pass the ball round them and force them to retreat until the Salah, Firmino and Mane joins the pressing.

The only weakness Frank Lampard's Chelsea have at the moment is their defense. Kurt Zouma, Antonio Rudiger or Christensen are not good enough to stop Liverpool's attacking trio.

Roberto Firmino alone is a menace and his movement, daft touches and creativity will single handily expose them. The Brazilian is very good in drawing defenders out of shape and inward's into middle thereby opening up spaces for Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane to burst through and score. .

Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso or Emerson will have to sit deeper to stop not just Mane and Firmino but Robertson and Trent Alexander Arnold. Pulisic or Willian will have defend deep or risking losing the game.

Simply put, Chelsea's main strength is their outstanding midfield and youthful strike force but their weakness is the defense.

Liverpool meanwhile have the attackers {world class}, midfield {average but very hardworking} and defense {world class}.

My Prediction: Chelsea 1- 2 Liverpool.

Chris Walder warns Liverpool: Sheffield United won't lose at Anfield

Chris Wilder has lauded praises on Liverpool and their iconic stadium 'Anfield' but warns, that his team aren't coming to Merseyside to lose like others.  Liverpool haven't lost a game in 52 matches neither have they lost a match at Anfield since April 2017. This season, they've won 17 games and drawn just once to Manchester United.. Powerful!  But, Sheffield United also boast a remarkable record. They've suffered just one away defeat to Manchester City which many believe was enabled by referee Chris Kavanagh.  Wilder believe Liverpool will be tough but his team can give them a fight.  "Going to Anfield, iconic stadium, fabulous experience, everything that Liverpool bring to the English game", Walder said during his press conference.  "They are the most powerful, historic of clubs in our game and going so well.  "But we'd like to put a little bump in their road, as we tried to do at Manchester City".

Emile Heskey: Liverpool should sign Jadon Sancho, he will improve the team

Former Liverpool striker Emile Heskey has called on Jurgen Klopp to sign England's exciting winger Jadon Sancho.  The 19-year-old has lit up the Bundesliga with his goals, assists and penetrating runs which Hesky feels will be useful addition to Liverpool.  Jurgen Klopp though has made it clear during the summer, he will only sign players who can improve his team and at the moment, there's none available. He won't sign players just because others are signing.  "Jadon Sancho would be a good fit for any of the top two or three clubs, to be honest with you", Heskey told Sky Sports.  "What he brings to the team, i think he would be fantastic for anyone in the Premier League, or in the world, he's that good. His goal, assist st, penetrating runs, frightening defenses. He'd be good for anyone".  Signing Jadon Sancho won't be cheap, he will cost any team £100 million ($129m) to sign.
