Manchester United fans react angrily to Ashley Young's one year contract extension

Manchester United captain Ashley Young will not be joining Inter Milan next summer neither will he be signing a pre-contract agreement with other clubs having be given a one-year contract extension.  Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a huge fan of the 34-year-old and feels his presence at the club will be useful to the younger players in the team.  Although, the decision to keep him at the club haven't gone down well with fan who vented angrily on different social medias.  Some of the tweet reads; "How the might have fallen.. "  Another aggrieved post reads: "The more Man U fans want to escape the more the owners give them pain".  Another reads: "This Ole and Co. are really taking us for granted. Why Adrian feels he should be Liverpool's no. 1 and not Alisson Becker

For the first time in 10 years, Liverpool have two talented goalkeepers going to head to head for a starting spot. 

 The first is Alisson Becker who is currently injured after picking up a calf injury in Liverpool's first match of the season. But before his injury, Alisson proved he is a world class keeper by leading Liverpool to their sixth Champions League. 

 He is the only goalkeeper in history who succeeded in winning the Champions League, Premier League and Copa America best goalkeeper. 

 He is also UEFA Best Goalkeeper and FIFA World Best Goalkeeper. Alisson is a modern day shot-stopper who combines athleticism with good reflexes, accurate passing and an incredible footwork. 

 But his injury has paved the way for another to emerge from shadow into the spot light. 

 Adrain is finally fulfilling his talent and developing quickly into one of world's finest goalkeepers. 

 With Liverpool, he has won his first ever trophy as a player by keeping Chelsea's spot kicks out of his net. That morale boasting win has shot his confidence sky high and today, Liverpool are unbeaten in their opening seven matches of the season. 

 Adrian meanwhile has conceded just five goals all season and looks to be getting better and better in every game he plays. 

 Under Jurgen Klopp several players have emerged from obscurity into stardom. The likes of Trent Alexander Arnold, Andrew Robertson, Joel Matip and Fabinho have managed to come into the first team by working extremely hard and proving to the gaffer they're better. 

 Trent Alexander {displaced Nathaniel Clyne}, Andrew Robertson {Alberto Moreno}, Jeol Matip {Joe Gomez}, Fabinho {James Milner } and now its time Adrian did the same to Alisson Becker.

De Bruyne warns: I don't care about the record at Anfield, we will beat Liverpool

Kevin De Bruyne has bruised aside the popular notion that Manchester City will always lose at Anfield when they face Liverpool.  City are yet to win at Anfield since 2003 but De Bruyne thinks its all meaningless statistics that will be ended on Sunday.  A draw at Anfield will be ok but a win will be fantastic for Pep Guardiola and City who will close the gap to 3 points and pile pressure on Liverpool. But a defeat will hand the initiative to Liverpool who will move 9 points clear of the reigning champions. Pep Guardiola confirms 5 first team players will miss Liverpool clash

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed that five of his trusted lieutenants will miss the penultimate clash with Liverpool.  Liverpool are arguably the only Premier League team strong enough to stop City from winning a third consecutive League title. Bayern Munich to offer Jurgen Klopp €25m a year if he leaves low paying Liverpool

Bayern Munich are set to make Jurgen Klopp the second best paid manager in world football by offering him a €25m-a-year contract reports Bild.  He will fall short of Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simone who earns {€41m-a-year) at the Wanda Metropolitano.  The Bavarian giants will give him €12m more than what he is currently earning at Liverpool which goes to show how desperate Bayern are to get back to the echelon of world football.  Klopp at the moment is the World Best Manager, an accolade giving to him by FIFA after winning the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and almost wrestling the Premier League title off the hands of Pep Guardiola and Manchester City.. According to Bild, Thomas Muller will join a Premier League team this summer after growing disillusioned with life on the bench. Liverpool have beaten Genk 4-1 to further underline their intentions this season. Injury boast: Manchester City super defender returns to training

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola has confirmed that his highly dependable defender Aymeric Laporte is back and undergoing light training.  The French defender's return will come as huge boast to City who are seriously struggling for consistency or keep out goals.  City have kept just one clean sheet in 15 Premier League matches which goes to prove why Liverpool are 13 points clear of them.  Guardiola was asked if Aymeric Laporte and Leroy Sane are back and he said;  "First of all, Happy New Year for everyone.
