Manchester United captain Ashley Young will not be joining Inter Milan next summer neither will he be signing a pre-contract agreement with other clubs having be given a one-year contract extension. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a huge fan of the 34-year-old and feels his presence at the club will be useful to the younger players in the team. Although, the decision to keep him at the club haven't gone down well with fan who vented angrily on different social medias. Some of the tweet reads; "How the might have fallen.. Since 2009, Liverpool have succeeded in beating Manchester Untied just once in 11 meetings.. The Red devils have won 9 games, drawn 3 and lost once back in 2009.
Head to head, Manchester United have the better advantage against Liverpool having scored 26 goals as agaisnt Liverpool's 8 at Old Trafford. They've kept more clean sheets {5}, came back from a losing position {4} and scored more than 3 or more goals {4}.
Statistically, Manchester Untied have a better chance of beating Liverpool at the moment than the reverse.
Why? United have everything riding on this game. They've to win to save Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's job and secondly must win not to drop into the relegation zone.
A win for United is a must or its going to end catastrophic for Solskjaer and his troops.
Liverpool meanwhile can leave with a defeat or draw but Klopp would want more. He will want his team to keep the momentum going and equal Manchester City's 18 match winning streak.
The Reds are without doubt the strongest team in the Premier League and with the return of Alisson Becker and Joel Matip coupled with Mohamed Salah's quick recovery, Liverpool will be too strong for United and that is a fact.
