Manchester United fans react angrily to Ashley Young's one year contract extension

Manchester United captain Ashley Young will not be joining Inter Milan next summer neither will he be signing a pre-contract agreement with other clubs having be given a one-year contract extension.  Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a huge fan of the 34-year-old and feels his presence at the club will be useful to the younger players in the team.  Although, the decision to keep him at the club haven't gone down well with fan who vented angrily on different social medias.  Some of the tweet reads; "How the might have fallen.. "  Another aggrieved post reads: "The more Man U fans want to escape the more the owners give them pain".  Another reads: "This Ole and Co. are really taking us for granted. Breaking: Two Liverpool defender to miss Champions League clash with Genk

Trent Alexander- Arnold will miss Liverpool's trip to Switzerland after picking up a knock during training. 

 The Guinness World holder for the most assist by a defender in a single league campaign will now be replaced by James Milner or Joe Gomez. Why? 

 Liverpool do not have a like for like replacement for the full backs neither do they've for the wingers. Andy Robertson, Alexander Arnold, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane do not have quality replacement.. But rather makeshift players who can put in a shift and get the result until their back. 

 Another news coming in from Melwood is that Joel Matip have missed today's training season and could also miss the trip to Switzerland. 

 Matip is reportedly suffering from cramps and could miss the clash.. 

 In his absence, Klopp will certainly call on Dejan Lovren who played very well against Leicester City in which Liverpool went on to win 2-1. 

 Liverpool have played two Champions League matches, losing one to Napoli (2-0) and winning one (4-3 to Salzburg).

Jurgen Klopp reveals three areas Liverpool must improve

Salzburg's sensational comeback to draw Liverpool 3-3 before losing 4-3 have stunned not just the fans who watched the exhilarating match but Jurgen Klopp who feels something has to change.  The gaffer had to withdraw his captain Jordan Henderson whose side ways and backward passing killed of the momentum attack as well as Gini Wijnaldum who struggled to impose himself on the game.  He replaced Henderson with James Milner to provide the steel and combativeness in midfield and Divock Origi to provide more firepower upfront. Jurgen Klopp responds to Liverpool fans urging him to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Jurgen Klopp has admitted he would've signed Zlatan Ibrahimovic this January had he not played for Manchester United before. Why Barcelona decision to ditch Philippe Coutinho for Antoine Griezmann have failed to work

Barcelona's decision to trigger Antoine Griezmann's € 120m release clause despite having Philippe Coutinho is beginning to look silly. The Brazilian  was fantastic to watch in his first season at Camp Nou as he helped Barca win the La Liga and Copa Del Rey title.  But, his second season wasn't as promising as the first as Barcelona managed to win just the La Liga title.  The Bluagrana giants were beaten badly by Sevilla in the Copa Del Rey final and Liverpool in the Semi final of the Champions League at Anfield.  A change needed to be made and Coutinho had to be sold to pave way for a World Cup winner in Antoine Griezmann.  Glorified, respected and proven, Griezmann was everything Barcelona thought they needed to arrest the club's decline and over dependence on Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.  Unfortunately, the quick fix has failed to work as Griezmann has shown he lacks the flair, attacking prowess and mentality to drive Barcelona forward....
