Manchester United captain Ashley Young will not be joining Inter Milan next summer neither will he be signing a pre-contract agreement with other clubs having be given a one-year contract extension. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a huge fan of the 34-year-old and feels his presence at the club will be useful to the younger players in the team. Although, the decision to keep him at the club haven't gone down well with fan who vented angrily on different social medias. Some of the tweet reads; "How the might have fallen.. " Another aggrieved post reads: "The more Man U fans want to escape the more the owners give them pain". Another reads: "This Ole and Co. are really taking us for granted. You can't be renewing Ashley's contract while there are real loopholes to cover.. it's getting out of hand". Sad ones goes this way: "Why, just why would you do that? He is part of the dead wood that they need clearing out "This ...
How do you beat Liverpool? A question Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his coaching staff will have to find a solution in just two weeks time.
That solution to beating Liverpool will save Solskjaer job, reinvigorate his team and off course, make the blue half of Manchester love him.. He might even get a congratulatory call from Pep Guardiola.
But achieving that fate will hard. Liverpool are unbeaten in 8 games and are in a run of 17 consecutive wins. If they beat United at Old Trafford they will equal Manchester City's 18 match winning streak.
Liverpool's away form is terrifying, they've won their last eight away matches, scoring 15 goals while conceding just 4 goals. In over 48 matches, only Manchester City have succeeded in beating them and that was last season.
Put this way, Liverpool don't lose Premier League matches, the best you can get from them is a draw but even that draw is very hard to get.
United though will see the return of Aaron Wan- Bissak, Victor Lindelof, Paul Pogba and maybe Anthony Martial.. Out of the eight first team player that failed to make the trip to Tyneside, at least 5 of them will be back against Liverpool.
United will be stronger, more motivated and energized to face their old foes at Old Trafford. Liverpool meanwhile will see the return of the World Best Keeper Alisson Becker, Joel Matip and hopefully Mohamed Salah {who limped out against Leicester City}.
This will be the game of the ages and if United do somehow cage Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane {both attackers have failed to score in 4 meetings against United} they will certainly get a draw better yet, a win.
