Manchester United fans react angrily to Ashley Young's one year contract extension

Manchester United captain Ashley Young will not be joining Inter Milan next summer neither will he be signing a pre-contract agreement with other clubs having be given a one-year contract extension.  Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a huge fan of the 34-year-old and feels his presence at the club will be useful to the younger players in the team.  Although, the decision to keep him at the club haven't gone down well with fan who vented angrily on different social medias.  Some of the tweet reads; "How the might have fallen.. "  Another aggrieved post reads: "The more Man U fans want to escape the more the owners give them pain".  Another reads: "This Ole and Co. are really taking us for granted. Breaking: Manchester City highly rated midfielder recovers in time to face Liverpool

Manchester City's highly rated star Rodri has returned to training ahead of Liverpool showdown. 

 The defensive midfielder/centre back has missed two of City's last two Premier League wins over Aston Villa and Southampton due to a hamstring injury.. 

 His recovery will come as huge boast for City who will face Liverpool next at Anfield. 

 Anfield is a fortress and City are fully aware of this having failed to win there since 2003 neither have the club's record goalscorer Sergio Aguero scored at Anfeild. 

 Rodri though will not take part in full session and will miss City's Champions League clash with Atalanta but will be ready for Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp responds to Liverpool fans urging him to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Jurgen Klopp has admitted he would've signed Zlatan Ibrahimovic this January had he not played for Manchester United before. The gaffer though feels Ibrahimovic won't want to come to Liverpool due to their intense style of playing coupled with consistent running.. Everton sacks Marco Silva after Liverpool's 5-2 derby humiliation

Borrusia Dortmund has reportedly named their asking price for Jadon Sancho who is quickly developing into a world class forward.  According to Bild, Dortmund wants €140m for their highly rated forward cause they feel he is worth more than Ousmane Dembele who left the club to join Spanish giants Barcelona back in 2017 for €109m.  Why? Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp set to win another 'Coaching Award'

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been nominated for UK Coaching 'Great Coaching Moment of the Year'.  Klopp will contest the award with England manager Gareth Southgate, Athletics coach John Blackie and Swin coach Mel Marshall.  The gaffe was able to make the shortlist after Liverpool turned around a 3-0 defeat to win Barcelona 4-0 at Anfield.  Funny enough, Klopp was busy talking to his coaching staff when Trent Alexander Arnold saw Divock Origi in hectares of space inside Barcelona's 12-yard box and cleverly passed the ball for him to score the fourth goal needed to knock Barcelona out.. Revealed: Mo Salah is still injured with an ankle injury and now needs injections to play

Its difficult to  fathom the sort of pain Mohamed Salah goes through before and after playing a football match.  The Liverpool winger is still suffering an ankle injury sustained against Leicester City almost one moment. The culprit remains Hamaza Choudhury whose nasty challenge sent Salah to the ground in agony.  Sadly, Salah trains alone, the medical staff and coaches have tailored a specific training programmee for him in a bid to help him recover as quickly as possible. Murphy: Sadio Mane will be fired up to play Manchester City and Guardiola

Former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy feels Pep Guardiola has made a big mistake by insinuating Sadio Mane is a 'diver'. Mane is the Premier League's most improved player and he is the reason Liverpool are six points clear of the chasing pack. Former coach warns Erling Haaland not to join Bayern Munich or Liverpool
