Manchester United fans react angrily to Ashley Young's one year contract extension

Manchester United captain Ashley Young will not be joining Inter Milan next summer neither will he be signing a pre-contract agreement with other clubs having be given a one-year contract extension.  Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a huge fan of the 34-year-old and feels his presence at the club will be useful to the younger players in the team.  Although, the decision to keep him at the club haven't gone down well with fan who vented angrily on different social medias.  Some of the tweet reads; "How the might have fallen.. "  Another aggrieved post reads: "The more Man U fans want to escape the more the owners give them pain".  Another reads: "This Ole and Co. are really taking us for granted. Jaun Mata gives 3 reasons why Manchester United will win a trophy this season

Manchester United might have lost its aura and fear factor but some players still believe in the club's rich history and ability to disappoint the doubters. 

Juan Mata is one of those players who really believe that Manchester United can still win something. big. He feels the squad is good and only then need is team work and organisation to get back to basics. 

Realistically, United have big chance to win the Caraboa Cup, teh FA Cup and the Europa League. The Premier League would've been included but it takes of level of consistency to compete against Liverpool and Manchester City. 

Liverpool won't lose more than one game all season while City might lose 3 or 4 but will later go on to win 10 to 15 games consecutively. 

Mata still believes United will stun the world and gives three reasons: 

1. United are underdogs and nobody believe they're good enough- 

Consistency and lack of cohesion currently typifies United at the moment. The team is struggling and nobody thinks they will win or trophy neither will finish in the top 4. 

That degrading as well as disrespect could work on United favour.. United will fight for everything and hopefully win a trophy and finish in the top 4. 

2. United have top players who can make the difference- 

The likes of Paul Pogba, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and even Harry Maguire can deserve games.  Football is about winning games and United have very good players to win them games. 

3. The players are quickly adapting to the manager's tactics and getting to know their new teammates- 

United players are not only learning what the manager want from them their adapting to their new teammates. 

The team is getting better and hopefully this season will see Manchester United kick into gear.

He leaves in the summer: Should Liverpool extend Adam Lallana's contract?

Liverpool could be losing one of its tried and tested superstar Adam Lallana whose contract runs down in the summer.  The 31-year-old will have the option to sign a pre-contract agreement with any club of his choice on Wednesday when the January transfer window opens.  According to the Telegraph, Jurgen Klopp still wants him in the team and will offer him a year contract at the end of the summer.  Lallana meanwhile has told friends he wants more football under his belt having recovered from years of persistent injuries and fatigue.  If the midfielder those leave Liverpool, he will leave as a Champions League winner, a Club World Cup winner, a Super Cup winner and soon, a Premier League winner.  The question now remains should Liverpool sell him or offer him a one year contract?

Jurgen Klopp reveals three areas Liverpool must improve

Jurgen Klopp responds to Liverpool fans urging him to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Jurgen Klopp has admitted he would've signed Zlatan Ibrahimovic this January had he not played for Manchester United before. The gaffer though feels Ibrahimovic won't want to come to Liverpool due to their intense style of playing coupled with consistent running.. Why Barcelona decision to ditch Philippe Coutinho for Antoine Griezmann have failed to work

Barcelona's decision to trigger Antoine Griezmann's € 120m release clause despite having Philippe Coutinho is beginning to look silly. The Brazilian  was fantastic to watch in his first season at Camp Nou as he helped Barca win the La Liga and Copa Del Rey title.  But, his second season wasn't as promising as the first as Barcelona managed to win just the La Liga title.  The Bluagrana giants were beaten badly by Sevilla in the Copa Del Rey final and Liverpool in the Semi final of the Champions League at Anfield.  A change needed to be made and Coutinho had to be sold to pave way for a World Cup winner in Antoine Griezmann.  Glorified, respected and proven, Griezmann was everything Barcelona thought they needed to arrest the club's decline and over dependence on Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.  Unfortunately, the quick fix has failed to work as Griezmann has shown he lacks the flair, attacking prowess and mentality to drive Barcelona forward....

10 years without a trophy! Its time Harry Kane ditch Tottenham Hotspur

Last season was memorable, Tottenham Hotspur were very close to lifting their first ever Champions League trophy. If they had won it, Spurs would've been the dream club of every elite player.  Superstars all over the world would've joined at the opportunity to play for them while the likes of Christian Eriksen, Vertonghen, Ross and others won't hesitate to extend their contract.
