Manchester United fans react angrily to Ashley Young's one year contract extension

Manchester United captain Ashley Young will not be joining Inter Milan next summer neither will he be signing a pre-contract agreement with other clubs having be given a one-year contract extension.  Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a huge fan of the 34-year-old and feels his presence at the club will be useful to the younger players in the team.  Although, the decision to keep him at the club haven't gone down well with fan who vented angrily on different social medias.  Some of the tweet reads; "How the might have fallen.. "  Another aggrieved post reads: "The more Man U fans want to escape the more the owners give them pain".  Another reads: "This Ole and Co. are really taking us for granted. You can't be renewing Ashley's contract while there are real loopholes to cover.. it's getting out of hand".  Sad ones goes this way: "Why, just why would you do that? Arsene Wenger reveals 3 things Manchester City must do to beat Liverpool at Anfield

Image
Arsenal's greatest manager Arsene Wenger agrees that the blockbuster encounter between Liverpool and Manchester City will decide the destination of the Premier League title but completely disagrees that Liverpool will easily beat Manchester City at home.

City have won at Anfield since 2003 while the club's leading marksmen Sergio Aguero is yet to score there since joining the club, wow!

Ending that feat will be Guardiola's quest but before achieving that fate, the manager must fix three things.

1. Defensively, City must be good-

Liverpool have the best front three in world football in Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and in form Sadio Mane, keep those three quiet and City have a 70% chance of winning or leaving with a draw.

The defensive must be tight, organised and composed..

2. Stop Liverpool's most creative player Trent Alexander Arnold from making attacking runs and crossing in dangerous balls into the 18-yard-box.

Trent Alexander Arnold might be 21 but he is deadly and precise. His diagonal/ cross field balls are exceptional, coupled with his crosses into the box and almost perfect pick out pass to set his teammates into transition...

His shots from distance is hard to catch while his free kicks are almost as good as Lionel Messi. If Manchester City are really serious about beating Liverpool, they've to stop him from getting forward, he is deadly.

3. City have to score when the chance presents itself and then hit Liverpool on the counter when they leave spaces behind when trying to equalize.

Manchester City have to be clinical against Liverpool, they've to score goals to win the game. Once City are in front, they will have the better initiative in attack. Liverpool's fullback will overlap to assist the attacker, leaving holes in behind the defenders.

The likes of De Bruyne or Gundogan should exploit the gaps in defense and send balls over the top to Sterling or Aguero to use their incredible burst of speed to counter and score.

Mane, Salah, Alisson or Van Dijk: Which Liverpool player deserve to win the Ballon d'Or?

For the first time in history, seven Liverpool players have made the shortlist of the Ballon d'Or.  Alisson Becker, Van Dijk, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Trent Alexander Arnold and Gini Wijnaldum have all made the list but the list don't feel right.  They're Liverpool players that really deserve to be that list. The likes of Andrew Robertson who is currently the best left back in the world contributed 11 assists with 2 goals last season en-route to Liverpool winning the Champions League and the UEFA Super Cup should've been included.  Joel Matip also deserve to be included. His the best 'right centre back' in the world and the only defender capable of dribbling past defenders while marauding forward.  There's no other defender in world football who can take the ball from the back, skip past two or three defenders before lying out a pass or shooting accurately to goal. Matip is the only defender who posses that trait and that is enoug...

Finally, Gareth Bale ruins Real Madrid legendary status with stupid flag

Who in the world advised Gareth Bale to carry a banner inscribed: "Wales. Golf. Madrid", minutes after the nation qualified for the 2020 Euros.  Bale's decision was ill-advised and now he never be regarded in the same breath as Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Marcelo or even Isco. He disrespected the club that gave him all he has and made him who is today.  The trophies {13 titles including 4 Champions League and 4 FIFA World Club Cup}, the money {over $120m in wages} and the wide world appeal that attracted endorsement deals to him.  No doubt, the 32-year-old have created unbelievable memories like that sensational winning goal against Barcelona in 2013 Copa Del Rey, the overhead kick and long range stunner against Liverpool to win Madrid their 13th Champions League trophy.  But in-spite of those memorable moments, Bale has spent 2 years out of his 6 years at Madrid in the treatment table. He is always injured and hardly fit to play games.  His sa...
