Sergio Aguero might be Manchester City's all time record goalscorer and the Premier League best striker but, the diminutive Argentina has a record he is yet to break.
Aguero has never scored at Anfield and against a Liverpool team gunning down the Premier League title, if he fails to score or lead City to a victory, the Premier League title will certainly head to Anfield.
Leicester City and Chelsea might be huffing and puffing at the moment but against Liverpool, they're no match in the long run.
Liverpool's Van Dijk was asked if Aguero can break his deadlock at Anfield and he had this to say:
"I think Aguero is one of the best strikes in the league", Van Dijk told reports.
"And he's been doing it for many years. It's a tough challenge and we will all have to be at our best to keep him quiet.
"He won't be worrying about not scoring at Anfield. He has enough experience not to think about those statistics".
Asked if Liverpool will take a draw against Manchester City, Van Dijk added: "Drawing this game is something we are not going to even think about.
"We want to win every game we play, and they will want to win as well so we will see. The situation is that we are six points above them at the moment, but that can change quickly".
Liverpool will need a win to move nine points clear of 4th placed Manchester City and 8 points clear of Leicester City.
