Manchester United fans react angrily to Ashley Young's one year contract extension

Manchester United captain Ashley Young will not be joining Inter Milan next summer neither will he be signing a pre-contract agreement with other clubs having be given a one-year contract extension.  Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a huge fan of the 34-year-old and feels his presence at the club will be useful to the younger players in the team.  Although, the decision to keep him at the club haven't gone down well with fan who vented angrily on different social medias.  Some of the tweet reads; "How the might have fallen.. "  Another aggrieved post reads: "The more Man U fans want to escape the more the owners give them pain".  Another reads: "This Ole and Co. are really taking us for granted. You can't be renewing Ashley's contract while there are real loopholes to cover.. it's getting out of hand".  Sad ones goes this way: "Why, just why would you do that? Pep Guardiola confirms 5 first team players will miss Liverpool clash

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed that five of his trusted lieutenants will miss the penultimate clash with Liverpool.

Liverpool are arguably the only Premier League team strong enough to stop City from winning a third consecutive League title. They're 6 points ahead of City having won 10 games and drawn just once this season..

A win at Anfield will see the Reds move 9 points clear of City which Guardiola will be hoping to avoid.

But beating Liverpool at Anfield will be hard without Aymeric Laporte {ankle injury}, Leroy Sane {cruciate ligament damage}, Rodri {calf injury} and Aleks Zinchenko {ankle injury} and now David Silva {muscular problem} will be very hard.

"I didn't speak with the doctor but when he has a muscular problem and cannot play more minutes", Guadiola told reporters about David Silva's injury.

"It is because he has something and when it is a muscular problem it always a minimum of 10-12 days".

Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp both know the clash will decide the destination of the Premier League. Klopp have smartly rested Fabinho against Aston Villa to keep him fresh for the clash while Guardiola has alerted the referees about the tendency of Sadio Mane going down in the box to win last minute penalties.

1 win in 13 games! Can Liverpool really beat Manchester United at Old Trafford?

Since 2009, Liverpool have succeeded in beating Manchester Untied just once in 11 meetings.. The Red devils have won 9 games, drawn 3 and lost once back in 2009.  Head to head, Manchester United have the better advantage against Liverpool having scored 26 goals as agaisnt Liverpool's 8 at Old Trafford. They've kept more clean sheets {5}, came back from a losing position {4} and scored more than 3 or more goals {4}.  Statistically, Manchester Untied have a better chance of beating Liverpool at the moment than the reverse.  Why? United have everything riding on this game. They've to win to save Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's job and secondly must win not to drop into the relegation zone.  A win for United is a must or its going to end catastrophic for Solskjaer and his troops.  Liverpool meanwhile can leave with a defeat or draw but Klopp would want more. He will want his team to keep the momentum going and equal Manchester City's 18 match winning s...

Scholes: Liverpool have done something Manchester United have never done

Manchester United legend Paul Scoles has lavished praises on Liverpool who is said have already wrapped up the Premier League title.  Scholes can't see anybody catching Liverpool this season who are 13 points off Leicester City and 14 points off reigning champions Manchester City.  The scary part of Liverpool's is that they could move 16 points clear of second place Leicester City if they beat West Ham in their outstanding match.  "I don't think we'd {Manchester United} ever won it by Christmas", Scholes told Premier League Productions.  "This team- look it's game over, there's nobody {who is going to catch them}. I think the question now is how many points they going to win it by, i think they're so good.  "City have a team if any team could get anywhere near them but i don't expect that to happen. I just think Liverpool are too good. I think the biggest fight we've got now this season is probably the relegation fight ...

Chris Walder warns Liverpool: Sheffield United won't lose at Anfield

Chris Wilder has lauded praises on Liverpool and their iconic stadium 'Anfield' but warns, that his team aren't coming to Merseyside to lose like others.  Liverpool haven't lost a game in 52 matches neither have they lost a match at Anfield since April 2017. This season, they've won 17 games and drawn just once to Manchester United.. Powerful!  But, Sheffield United also boast a remarkable record. They've suffered just one away defeat to Manchester City which many believe was enabled by referee Chris Kavanagh.  Wilder believe Liverpool will be tough but his team can give them a fight.  "Going to Anfield, iconic stadium, fabulous experience, everything that Liverpool bring to the English game", Walder said during his press conference.  "They are the most powerful, historic of clubs in our game and going so well.  "But we'd like to put a little bump in their road, as we tried to do at Manchester City".

3 reasons why Manchester United must not sack Ole Gunnar Solskajear

Since Alex Ferguson bowed out of Manchester United in 2012, the club have hired and fired 4 managers and fired 3 who failed to replicate Fergie's winning formula.  Ole Gunnar Solskajear is the next manager in the firing line haven seen United struggle so early in the season. The Red devils have won just two matches all season and sit 10 points off league leaders Liverpool who looks destined to win their first Premier League title this season.  The sight of watching Liverpool win consecutive games while United struggle to beat the likes of Crystal Palace and West Ham is embarrassing.. But Solskajear has a solution and soon the fans will see a sudden change.  Here are the five reasons why Manchester United should not sack Solskajear 1.  Manchester United are currently rebuilding their team and will need time to deliver-  United are currently getting it right with their recruitment strategy but for this to work fans have to be patient. Manchest...

Everton sacks Marco Silva after Liverpool's 5-2 derby humiliation

Its all over, Everton have sack Marco Silva who have struggled to pass his message across his team this season and fallen short of the club's lofty expectations.  Silva's team have managed to win just 4 Premier League matches this season, losing nine and drawing 3.  That horrible form coupled with the 5-2 drubbing by Liverpool meant a change had to be made and fast.  Marcel Brands, the director of football, and Alexander Ryazantsev, the club's CEO, were visibly seen angrily gesticulating in the Directors' Box at Anfield while infuriated fans were forced to leave early.  The club statement released on Thursday evening reads: "Everton Football Club can confirm that manager Marco Silva has left the club.  "Majority Shareholder Farhad Moshiri, Chairman Bill Kenwright and the Board of Directors wold like to thank Marco for his service over the last 18 months and wish him well for the future.  "Duncan Ferguson has taken temporary charge of the fir...

Man City star Raheem Sterling or Sadio Mane: Who is world's best left forward?

On current form and performance, Liverpool star Sadio Mane and Manchester City star Raheem Sterling are world's finest left forwards in football..  Both stars are extremely fast, strong, skillful, creative and above all, very good in finding the back of the net.  They both average a ratio of 1 goal a game and created at least 4 to 5 chances each game.. But the question is which of the two is better.  Raheem Sterling:  Sterling have remained pivotal in what Pep Guardiola is planning to do at Manchester City. In his 4 year sting at City, the English man has won 7 trophies including back to back Premier League titles while scoring a staggering 89 goals in 132 appearances..  Rated as the second most expensive player after Kylian Mbappe, Sterling has taken his game to whole new level.. He is arguably the best player in the Premier League..  Sadio Mane Mane is a gem, an industrious player who works his stocks off for the team. What mak...

Revealed: The only reason Sadio Mane will ditch Liverpool for PSG

PSG are reportedly monitory Liverpool's sensational attacker Sadio Mane who they feel possess the world class ability to replace Neymar.  Neymar will certainly rejoin Barcelona, it is just a matter of time and PSG don't want to be on the losing side and have already began holding talks with Sadio's agent. Signing Mane won't be easy, he is currently playing for the best club in the world; have lots of friends at Anfield who are mostly Africans and have lifted the biggest trophy in European football- The Champions League.  You can say he is very relaxed at Liverpool and loves the type of football they currently play.  The 27-year-old Senegalese international was once asked about leaving Liverpool, he replied:  "Why would i want to leave Liverpool?  "The way they play i can't see any team beating them and i really don't want to be facing them with another team".  Mane is right with that assertion, Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool is very h...

Why Barcelona players were all ready to 'reduce their salaries' just to bring Neymar back

Gerard Pique's revelation that Barcelona player were ready to reduce their salary just to get Neymar back was shocking but yet, understandable.  In the past two season, Barcelona have been bruised, battered  and humiliated in the Champions League by AS Roma and Liverpool. The latter 'Liverpool' really crushed them, evident from the video footage of the players mourning and sulking in the dressing room.  The old guards Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquet and Gerard Pique knew at that moment they needed Neymar back.. They needed the man who massively helped in winning them they're fourth Champions trophy back in 2015.  If Neymar had played against AS Roma and Liverpool in the second leg of the Champions League semi final, Barcelona would've faced Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur in the final and won it.  Messi would've had 6 Champions League and not four.. Neymar is a world class player, a game changer and returning to Camp Nou will instantly make Barcelona favour...

No Ronaldo, no goals! Real Madrid in self destruct mode as Champions League exit looms

What an impact a single player can make in a team. Real Madrid had that player once in Cristiano Ronaldo, a superstar who single handily created chances and won matches on his own.  He was able to win 14 trophies with Real Madrid did also manage to become the clubs' record goalscorer with 369 goals and assists 114.. He is arguably the greatest player ever to play for Real Madrid but the mistake Los Blancos made was not to find an adequate replacement for the 40 goals per season striker.  Real Madrid are in self destruct mode evident from their present struggle and lack of consistency. This season Madrid haven't won back to back games neither have they scored more than 20 goals this season.  The goalkeeping department is presently in shambles, Thibaut Courtois have conceded nine goals in his last 14 shots. In fact, half of the 24 shots he's faced this season have flown past him. The midfield is decline while the attacker apart from Karim Benzema are not scoring goal...

Jamie Vardy reveals what Leicester City must do to beat Liverpool

Leicester City's high flying Jamie Vardy has warn his teammates not to underestimate the present Liverpool team who are breaking all kind of records in their run to major titles.  Liverpool is the first team in Premier League history to have won the European treble {the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup} while remaining unbeaten in the Premier League.  But despite their success, Vardy feels Leicester City can beat them at the King Power Stadium or at least hold them to draw- which seems to be good result agaisnt Liverpool this days.  "Liverpool is a good team, a fantastic team with good work ethics", Vardy told reporters.  "We can stop them playing our game, stopping the cross from Arnold and Robo and probably limit the spaces their front three need to attack." Asked about Liverpool's trip to Doha will affect their fitness, Vardy added: "I don't think that comes to it at all.  "Every professional footballer...
