Manchester United fans react angrily to Ashley Young's one year contract extension

Manchester United captain Ashley Young will not be joining Inter Milan next summer neither will he be signing a pre-contract agreement with other clubs having be given a one-year contract extension.  Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a huge fan of the 34-year-old and feels his presence at the club will be useful to the younger players in the team.  Although, the decision to keep him at the club haven't gone down well with fan who vented angrily on different social medias.  Some of the tweet reads; "How the might have fallen.. "  Another aggrieved post reads: "The more Man U fans want to escape the more the owners give them pain".  Another reads: "This Ole and Co. are really taking us for granted. Will Alexander Arnold become Liverpool's greatest captain?

Trent Alexander Arnold emboldens everything about Liverpool as a city and a club. He is a scouser, the only one currently plying his trade at Liverpool. 

 The last scouser to play for Liverpool and still regarded as the greatest of all captains is Steven Gerrard. Arnold is emulating Steven Gerrard's heroics and leading Liverpool to trophies. 

 At the moment, he is the most creative player at Liverpool and the only player capable of scoring a free kick, accurately play cross field balls or diagonal balls. His set piece are exceptional while his shoots are like rockets. 

 Added to that, Arnold holds the Guinness World Record for the most assists in a single season [13}. Funny enough, Arnold's first assist in Liverpool colours was in the league cup against Leeds United which the Reds went on to win.. The man who scored his assists was Divock Origi- A true legend. 

 The England international might be 21-years-old but he is the first and only player in Liverpool history to captain the U16 and U18 under Pep Lijnders {Liverpool's assistant manager} and soon the senior team.

 He is quickly developing into a world class player and soon rather than later, Jurgen Klopp or who ever takes over in 3 or 4 years time will have no other choice than to give the captain armband to Arnold- he is developing into a world class right back.

Manchester United 1- 1 Liverpool: Marcus Rashford is a beast and 5 things we learnt

For a while it felt like Manchester United were superior to Liverpool as their moved the ball much quicker, created good chances and opened the scoring through a magnificent ball to Marcus Rashford.  Rashford for one was just unstoppable, his energy, swagger and relentless running scared the death out of Liverpool's defense including Van Dijk who struggled all game to contain him.  He did score the goal that would've been the match winner but one area of judge from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer changed everything.  Taking off Rashford allowed Liverpool's defense to push forward and pile pressure on United's brittle back line.. Aguero and Sterling can't score at Anfield and 5 things we learnt as Liverpool beat Manchester City 3-1

Liverpool have done it, they've stretched their point lead to 9 after beating Manchester City 3-1 at Anfield.  The Reds brilliant in attack, they moved the ball much quicker and ensured, each attempt on goal counted.  Fabinho scored a sensational rocket of a shot to open his Anfield goal count before Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane ensured the Kop would be going home the victor. What a player Joel Matip has turn out to be be. The former Schalke 04 defender has grown in stature and class and without doubt, one of the best defender in the world.  His partnership with Van Dijk have been sensational, both men have created the perfect platform for Liverpool to win 16 consecutive matches on the spin. Did Alexander Arnold commit two penalties against Manchester City?

Liverpool might have beaten Manchester City 3-1 at Anfield but they were controversial moments that shocked the world of football including Pep Guardiola.  The Spanish tactician was visibly seen screaming his lungs out to the fourth official Mike Dean, alerting him that Trent Alexander Arnold has just committed not just once but two penalties.. Who in the world advised Gareth Bale to carry a banner inscribed: "Wales. Golf. Pre-contract agreed! Christian Eriksen heading to Manchester United

Tottenham star Christian Ericksen could be heading to Manchester United this summer reports The Telegraph. Ericksen's contract ends in six months time and he has no intention of extending it.  Next month, he will be given the option to sign a pre-contract agreement with any club of his choice be it Real Madrid, PSG, Juventus or even Manchester United.  But again, Spurs Chairman Daniel Levy will be reaching out to clubs in China or the Middle East to sign Ericksen knowing that meet his askign price { £40m } and even pay more for his service.  As far as know, Ericksen has no interest in going outside of Europe, he wants to win big trophies having spent 6 years at Spurs with just a single cup to show for it- the Caraboa Cup.
