Manchester United captain Ashley Young will not be joining Inter Milan next summer neither will he be signing a pre-contract agreement with other clubs having be given a one-year contract extension. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a huge fan of the 34-year-old and feels his presence at the club will be useful to the younger players in the team. Although, the decision to keep him at the club haven't gone down well with fan who vented angrily on different social medias. Some of the tweet reads; "How the might have fallen.. " Another aggrieved post reads: "The more Man U fans want to escape the more the owners give them pain". Another reads: "This Ole and Co. are really taking us for granted. You can't be renewing Ashley's contract while there are real loopholes to cover.. it's getting out of hand". Sad ones goes this way: "Why, just why would you do that? He is part of the dead wood that they need clearing out "This ...
What a comeback! Liverpool have beaten Aston Villa 2-1 to maintain their unbeaten start to the season.
The game was good to watch as both side created chances and had attempts on goal. Aston Villa found the back of the net from a set piece scored by Mahmoud Hassan who found the back of the net with a good strike.
65 minutes and Aston Villa still had the ascendancy which forced Jurgen Klopp to take off Mohamed Salah, Gini Wijnaldum and later Adam Lallana for Oxlade Chamberlian, Divock Origi and Naby Keita.
All three changes might Liverpool had to go for the kill and boy! did they.. In the 87th minute, a sublime cross from Sadio Mane found Andrew Robertson who powered in the equalizer and later, Mane finished the rest with a fantastic header..
Liverpool win and now have six points lead over Manchester City who they play next at Anfield.
1. Sadio Mane is a super hero but he has to stop going down easily-
What a display from Sadio Mane.. He was brilliant today and his assist and goal just goes to prove how important he has become for Liverpool.
Mohamed Salah and Van Dijk might be the two players everybody talks about but Mane is certainly Liverpool's best game changer. He never stops running, fighting and scoring goals.
2. Andrew Robertson needs to add more goals to his game-
Robertson is arguably the best left back in the world. . He posses everything a modern day left back needs to have.. He is fast, strong, technically good, can cross, link up play and above all, he scores goals.
He now needs to add more goals to his game to compete with legends of the games.
3. Oxlade Chamberlian needs to start against Manchester City and not the predictable Jordan Henderson-
Klopp has to start James Milner, Fabinho and Oxlade Chamberlian against Manchester City.. Why? Milner and Fabinho covers more grounds than any more other player in the team while Chamberlian is a goal threat..
Chamberlian is more like Steven Gerrard, always dribbling, running at defenders and once their's space to shoot, he will shoot from any distance. He is completely different from Jordan Henderson who is very predictable and often go for the safe passes and rarely shoots.
Both players have to improve defensively if Liverpool are to end their 30-year wait to lift the Premier League title.
Aston Villa might now have the attackers to punish mistakes but players make but against a better team like Manchester City, those two have to be cautious of their passes or clearances.
5. Aston Villa is a good team and they will remain in the Premier League-
No disrespect to the other teams that lost to Liverpool, Aston Villa was just better than them. They weren't scared of Liverpool, they really believed they could beat Liverpool.
They didn't plan to draw, nope! they wanted to win which frankly is incredible. If they can play any other team like they played Liverpool, i bet you they will finish in the Europa League places.
