But despite their success, Vardy feels Leicester City can beat them at the King Power Stadium or at least hold them to draw- which seems to be good result agaisnt Liverpool this days.

"Liverpool is a good team, a fantastic team with good work ethics", Vardy told reporters.

"We can stop them playing our game, stopping the cross from Arnold and Robo and probably limit the spaces their front three need to attack."

Asked about Liverpool's trip to Doha will affect their fitness, Vardy added: "I don't think that comes to it at all.

"Every professional footballer is obviously prepared to play games no mater where they are. They've been on a plan, and i'm sure the recovery would have been done on the plane, so they'll be fresh and ready to go. We know we have to be at our best".

The 3 reasons why Manchester City might never win the Champions League under Guardiola

Winning the Champions League is difficult, a very difficult competition that only few clubs in Europe have managed to win in history.  Real Madrid might have made a mockery of how difficult it is by winning it 13 times of which 3 were won in quick succession. But over the years it has shown that achieving that fate involves more than just having Cristiano Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane.  It requires having a world class team alongside with a very good bench that can rival the best teams in Europe.  The team and manager must believe its possible to beat the best and be the best at all times. That self believe is what is lacking in Manchester City and hampering their progress in the Champions League.  Pep Guardiola might have won it 2 times with Barcelona but winning it again with Manchester City will be much harder.  Why? The fans don't believe, they're not as passionate as fans in Anfield who always give their players the aura of gods when they pla...

Former coach warns Erling Haaland not to join Bayern Munich or Liverpool

Europe's hottest scoring sensation Erling Braut Haaland has been warned by his former coach not to make a big-money move to Liverpool and Bayern Munich who are already circling the 19-year-old.  Haaland has scored 26 times in just 18 games and showed his class by coming off the bench at Anfield and scoring a goal in Salzburg's 4-3 defeat to Liverpool.  His former manager at Bryne FK though recognizes his immerse talent but warns him not to move to Liverpool who already have Roberto Firmino or Bayern Munich who have arguably the world best striker Robert Lewandowski..  Sitting on the bench will hinder his progress, he needs to play games.  "The tactical requirements at Bayern and Liverpool would be a bit too high for {him} now", Alf Ingve Bernsten told Goal.com.  "After all, he has only played in Norway and Austria so far. And also there for a short time. Joining Bayern would be difficult for him at the moment. Because, of course, he is still far from ...

Chamberlian or Henderson: Who should Jurgen Klopp start against Manchester City?

For the first time in 30 years Liverpool have a realistic chance of wining the Premier League title and on Sunday that dream might come true at Anfield. They play Manchester City, a world class team built by the world's finest manager in Pep Guardiola who is attempting to win a third consecutive league title. If Liverpool win, they stretch their lead to nine points after 12 games and further cement their hold on the lead. A draw won't be that bad for either side and league, cause the likes of Liecester City and Chelsea will further reduce the point gap at the top to 8 and 9 point respectively. But to avoid a defeat, Jurgen Klopp will have to decide if starting Jordan Henderson will better than the inform Oxlade Chamberlian.  Jordan H enderson  Henderson might not the most creative player in Liverpool team nor the fastest, strongest or the most intelligent player but, he offers Jurgen Klopp something no other midfielder offers.  He will run into ...

Guardiola reveals what Manchester City must do against 'wounded Southampton'

Pep Guardiola is expecting to see a complete revival from Southampton who were brutally beaten by Leicester City on Friday.  Southampton suffered a 9-0 defeat at Saint Mary which is the biggest loss by a home team in the competition's history. City have already scored eight goals in a game this season- and themselves scored nine in the Caraboa Cup last season against Burton Albion in the semi-final first leg at the Etihad Stadium.  Guardiola knows its will be unwise to underestimate Ralph Hasenhutti's men who are the moment are looking for the perfect opportunity to make their incredible fans proud.  "It's not easy of course but at the same time i think they are incredible professionals', Guardiola said during his press conference.  "The manager will be sad for one night, one moment, but after that they have to move forward. The players are professionals and will do their best. I am not going to judge Southampton or prepare for the games on that resul...

Revealed: Pep Guardiola has a Manchester City release clause

According to Sports mail, Pep Guardiola can decide to work away from Manchester City at the end of the season if things aren't working as planned.  The release clause stipulates that Guardiola can decide to cut his tie with the club if he feels his team is no longer buying his idea again and no longer winning games.  As an obsessive manager who always preaches perfection, he only works best when the team works according to his principle and if not, he walks away...Class!!  Pep Guardiola has won back to back Premier League titles along with 4 other domestic trophies.. Champions League still remains the only trophy eluding the manager and the club. Asked if he wants to extend his contract with the club, Guardiola said: "I'm open {to it}, yes.  "It not about what the club wants or not. For me, i want to see my players the reaction of my players and everything. It is not as simple as i want to extend. I want to see the club, i want to see the players, i want t...

Europe League beckons: Why Jurgen Klopp is very worried about Salzburg

The reigning European champions are on the verge of exiting the competitions in the round of 16.  Liverpool could become the second team in 10 years to exit the Champions League in the group stage since AC Milan. But to prevent that from happening Jurgen Klopp's men must beat Salzburg at Red Bull Arena which frankly is no easy feat.  Salzburg is no push over and Klopp know this. He watched as Jesse Marsch men came back from a 3-0 defeat in the first half to draw 3-3 in the second half. It took a moment of pure genius from Mohamed Salah to find the winning goal and salvage respect from the home side.  Now, Austria team have an opportunity to create history, they've the chance to dump Liverpool out of the Champions League by beating them at home and progressing to the round of 16.  It won't be easy though but why would you doubt them knowing that Liverpool's defence is very weak and porous.  This season, the Reds have played 9 games at Anfield...

The sad reason why Liverpool can't win the Caraboa Cup?

Liverpool are competing in five fronts this season {the World Club Cup, the Champions League, the Premier League, the FA Cup and the Caraboa Cup} and every fan will be dreaming of seeing them win it all. But achieving that fate will be hard knowing that Jurgen Klopp's team is thin at the moment and lacks the fire power to push in all front. Apart from Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane there's nobody else in the team that can guarantee Liverpool 20 goals in all competition this season.  Divorck Origi though is an exception but the 25-year-old Belgium international is more of an impact substitute rather than a game change.  With that in mine would it be smart to risk Salah, Firmino and Mane- who is already suffering from a dead leg and knock- in the Caraboa?  Is the Caraboa Cup so important that Jurgen Klopp will be willing to risk the world best trio in a $2m worth cup.  If no, then there's no point prioritize the match knowing that Liv...

He wants to see how strong Liverpool are and if its really possible to beat them again to the Premier League title.  Asked if he will watch Manchester United vs Liverpool, he replied to Sky Sports:  "I think so!  "I talk to Firmino and Fabinho last week about the 'title race and the Premier League'. I said to them both 'all the best of luck'." Speaking on the title race, Jesus added; "This season i think it will be the same {every game} because Liverpool are eight points in front of us. We have to try to win every game".

Everton sacks Marco Silva after Liverpool's 5-2 derby humiliation

Its all over, Everton have sack Marco Silva who have struggled to pass his message across his team this season and fallen short of the club's lofty expectations.  Silva's team have managed to win just 4 Premier League matches this season, losing nine and drawing 3.  That horrible form coupled with the 5-2 drubbing by Liverpool meant a change had to be made and fast.  Marcel Brands, the director of football, and Alexander Ryazantsev, the club's CEO, were visibly seen angrily gesticulating in the Directors' Box at Anfield while infuriated fans were forced to leave early.  The club statement released on Thursday evening reads: "Everton Football Club can confirm that manager Marco Silva has left the club.  "Majority Shareholder Farhad Moshiri, Chairman Bill Kenwright and the Board of Directors wold like to thank Marco for his service over the last 18 months and wish him well for the future.  "Duncan Ferguson has taken temporary charge of the fir...

Why Harry Kane must consider joining Manchester City as Sergio Aguero's replacement

Harry Kane has reached the stage of his career when he has to think deeply about his future and ask himself if sticking with Tottenham Hotspur beyond this season will be good for his career or not.  The England international captain have spent 10 years at Spurs and only once have he come close to winning a meaningful trophy {2019 Champions League}. But in those years, Kane has developed into one of Europe's  top striker.  With Spurs he has scored 171 goals in 263 appearances and won the golden boot in 2 of the last 3 seasons.  Kane is top class striker but he knows he has to win trophies to become one of the best player in the world. He knows scoring goals without winning meaningful trophies is tantamount to a wasted career.  Players remember the number of trophies they won when they retire while fans idolize them for the trophy they managed to win for the club and their key contributions in winning them.  Kane knows he is already a legend at Tot...
