Manchester United captain Ashley Young will not be joining Inter Milan next summer neither will he be signing a pre-contract agreement with other clubs having be given a one-year contract extension.  Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a huge fan of the 34-year-old and feels his presence at the club will be useful to the younger players in the team.  Although, the decision to keep him at the club haven't gone down well with fan who vented angrily on different social medias.  Some of the tweet reads; "How the might have fallen.. "  Another aggrieved post reads: "The more Man U fans want to escape the more the owners give them pain".  Another reads: "This Ole and Co. are really taking us for granted. You can't be renewing Ashley's contract while there are real loopholes to cover.. it's getting out of hand".  Sad ones goes this way: "Why, just why would you do that? He is part of the dead wood that they need clearing out "This ...

John Stones will provide the much needed defensive cover for City who have already 8 points adrift of Liverpool after just 8 games.

Selhurst Palace is to easy place for City, they managed to win 2 of their last five games there, while conceding 5 as to 9 goals scored.

De Bruyne though will be tasked with opening up Roy Hodgson's well drilled defense and provide the incisive passes needed for Sergio Aguero or Raheem Sterling to score the winning goals.

Lampard tells Chelsea fans: Forget the Premier League, we won't win it

Frank Lampard has dismissed the notion that Chelsea can compete for the Premier League title against the leagues best clubs.  The Blues are fourth in the table, 13 points off pacy setters- Liverpool after just 14 games.  Chelsea are presently struggling to win games and have gone three games without a win in all competitions and have now lost back-to-back Premier League games against Manchester City and now West Ham. Asked about the Premier League title and Chelsea's hopes of winning it, Lampard said;  "No. We won't win it, not this season i am sure about that", Lampard told Sky Sports.  "Winning the Premier League title would've been great but, the team is young and lack the experience to go all the way."  Chelsea will play Aston Villa next and Lampard will be hoping to get back to winning wins.

3 reasons why Manchester United can beat Liverpool at Old Trafford

For the second time this season, Jurgen Klopp will be able to call upon his dependable first eleven for a Premier League clash.  The good part of this situation is that Klopp will be able to play his best 11 against a depleted and disorganized Manchester United. He will want to knock them off their parch and probably end the tenure of yet another manager by blowing them away at Old Trafford.  Liverpool are aiming to become the second team in history to win 18 consecutive matches after Manchester City as well as the first to win their first nine games in a row. In fact the Reds are 15 points ahead of United after 8 games which is the biggest point ever in Premier League history. But that counts to nothing knowing the history between both clubs. Liverpool haven't beaten United at Old Traford since 2014. While their phenomenal front three have struggled to score goals at the theater of dreams.  Roberto Firmino is the only Liverpool attacker to have managed to score ...

Manchester City set to sign Barcelona's $45m rated defender Samuel Umtiti

Manchester City have reportedly closing in on signing Barcelona's central defender Samuel Umtiti.  The 26-year-old France international has struggled for regular playing berth under Ernesto Valverde having suffered series of injuries in the past as well as lacking the pace, power and defensive nous of his replacement-  Clement Lenglet.  According to L'Equipe, Umtiti could be heading to the Etihad Stadium having reached verbal agreement with the club.  Pep Guardiola is a big fan of the defender and wouldn't mind spending $45m to sign the France World Cup winning defender.

The sad reason why Liverpool can't win the Caraboa Cup?

Liverpool are competing in five fronts this season {the World Club Cup, the Champions League, the Premier League, the FA Cup and the Caraboa Cup} and every fan will be dreaming of seeing them win it all. But achieving that fate will be hard knowing that Jurgen Klopp's team is thin at the moment and lacks the fire power to push in all front. Apart from Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane there's nobody else in the team that can guarantee Liverpool 20 goals in all competition this season.  Divorck Origi though is an exception but the 25-year-old Belgium international is more of an impact substitute rather than a game change.  With that in mine would it be smart to risk Salah, Firmino and Mane- who is already suffering from a dead leg and knock- in the Caraboa?  Is the Caraboa Cup so important that Jurgen Klopp will be willing to risk the world best trio in a $2m worth cup.  If no, then there's no point prioritize the match knowing that Liv...

Van Nistelrooy is absolutely wrong! Lionel Messi don't deserve to win the Ballon d'Or

uud van Nistelrooy assertion that Lionel Messi deserves the Ballon d'Or ahead of other nominated players is absolutely wrong.  Lionel Messi is indeed a world class player, a dream player every team in the world will want to have but, last season wasn't his best campaign. He did score a respectable tally of goals -50 goals in 54 appearances- which is phenomenal but winning the Ballon d'Or takes more than that this days.  In the grandest of stage, Messi failed to light it up. He failed in Europe {the Champions League} and Brazil {the Copa America}. In both competition, Messi struggled to make any meaningful impact.  Barcelona were blown away by Liverpool at Anfield despite arriving the ground with a 3-0 win with Messi scoring one of the best free-kicks in the tournaments history. And with Argentina who finished 3rd in the Copa America, Messi found the net just once.  Dani Alves 34, was the player of the Tournament and not Messi who was...

Say no to Racism! Bulgaria fans and crazy people have no place in football

Another day, another devastating blow to the struggle to end racism in football.  The embarrassing display from Bulgaria fans showed why FIFA and the European governing body must take a stuff stand on doing something about racism.  Nobody wants to be called a monkey neither do they want to remember  the history of their forefathers been hanged and burnt for been black by the KKK. Football is a beautiful game, a game which combines passion, tactics, brawls, near misses and goals to give you almost perfect result. Although, this combinations can be beautiful if it goes you're way and negative if you team is losing especially if its a 6-0 hammering.  Bulgaria were beaten mercilessly by England and the aftermath from the fans was the monkey chants and Nazi salutes. Its was a black lash from the fans who were disgusted with watching England's world class team carve them open time after time. If the three lions had taken their chances, they would've w...

Why Real Madrid star Eden Hazard must prove himself against PSG

Real Madrid will kick off their Champions League campaign against PSG on Wednesday night and the rest of world will be expecting to see a mind blowing game.  One man everybody will be watching is Madrid's $150m acquisition Eden Hazard who will be expected to take the game by the scruff of the net and single handily win the game like his predecessor Cristiano Ronaldo did in the past.  Ronaldo is the greatest goalscorer the world have ever seen, a role model kids around the world should emulate. He always preaches: ' Talent alone won't take you anyway but, hard work and commitment are the key ingredients to the success'.  Without doubt, Hazard possess similar qualities to Ronaldo, maybe not in physique and aerial prowess but when it comes to pace, dribbling skills, stamina and goals, Hazard is just as good as Ronaldo.  On Wednesday night, Hazard will have to prove himself to the watching world that he is not of waste of money but rather a foundation in wh...

Liverpool vs Manchester City: facts, predictions and score line

The penultimate clash between Liverpool and Manchester City will see two of the finest team in world clash with each other. Jurgen Klopp will face Pep Guardiola at Anfield and will be backing on the club's phenomenal record at home. Liverpool are yet to loss a Premier League match at Anfield since Oct, 2017 and have now won 44 matches, scored an incredible 102 goals and conceded just 28 goals..  In fact, they haven't lost to Manchester City at Anfield since 2003 and at the moment don't look like a team will loss that easily.  How the game will be lost  Pep Guardiola will certainly want his team to score first knowing that a goal will unsettle Liverpool's already shaky defense. The combination of Dejan Lovren and Virgil van Dijk is not the strongest centre back pairing in the world its vulnerable and easy to break up. Once a goal is scored, full backs like Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander Arnold will overlap creating opening in the defense for the ...

Gabriel Jesus reveals why Liverpool will struggle this December

Gabriel Jesus still believes Manchester City has what it takes to beat Liverpool to win the Premier League title this season.  The Brazilian attacker thinks Liverpool will struggle this December due to their tightly congested fixture and their history of always failing apart when it really matters.  Even last season when it all seems Liverpool will finally win the title having amassed 97 points {the club's highest point tally} they still failed to beat City to the Premier League itl.  "We have only played 15 fixtures and, in spite of being only December, we are 8 points behind Liverpool, so obviously, at this point, it is very difficult", Jesus told Sky Sports.  "But i think we are still in early stages of the season, there are a lot of games to play. December is always a crucial month for the championship, so we need to be very focus and try to win game by game.  "Liverpool have a lot of games and i don't see them winning all the matches". ...
