Manchester United captain Ashley Young will not be joining Inter Milan next summer neither will he be signing a pre-contract agreement with other clubs having be given a one-year contract extension.  Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a huge fan of the 34-year-old and feels his presence at the club will be useful to the younger players in the team.  Although, the decision to keep him at the club haven't gone down well with fan who vented angrily on different social medias.  Some of the tweet reads; "How the might have fallen.. You can't be renewing Ashley's contract while there are real loopholes to cover.. it's getting out of hand".  Sad ones goes this way: "Why, just why would you do that? Retire no! Juventus star Crisitano Ronaldo reveals the two things he need before ITS OVER!

Image
Cristiano Ronaldo  has dismissed the speculations from sports papers and blogs that he will retire this season or the next. The Portuguese captain wants to play on, he feels he is the best player in the world and winning trophies is his entitlement.

Since 2013, Crisitano Ronaldo have never missed a season without lifting club trophies. He has won the biggest trophies where he has gone and at Juventus he is breaking and setting his own record.

But before he calls it a quit, Ronaldo wants to do what no other striker or winger has managed to do in 23 years for Juventus. He wants to win them the Champions League, a trophy that have eluded the Bianconeri since 1996.

The Champions League is Juventus most coveted trophy not the Seria A {they've won it 8 consecutive times and will win it again this season}or the Copa Italia {won it 6 out of 8 season}. What they want is the Champions League and Ronaldo wants to deliver.

He knows if he delivers the trophy, it will make him the first and only player to win the Champions League six times as well as the first to win the Ballon d'Or 6 times, the FIFA World Best Player 4 times along with other trophies..

"Age is just a number. It does not mean that at 34, 35, 36, you are at the end of your career", Ronaldo told UEFA.Com.

"I can show that with my performances, how i play, the way i play, the way i still feel good, sharp, thinking about the game, more mature.

"This makes the difference. We want to win Seria A, we want to win teh Cup, the Champions League. Juventus should think big. We are going to try to win all the trophies.

"We know it will be difficult, especially the league and the Champions League, but i think it is possible. Everything is possible".

Ronaldo will cement himself as the greatest of all time and instantly become a legend. There's no better to retire than that and Ronaldo knows this.

Manchester United 1- 1 Liverpool: Marcus Rashford is a beast and 5 things we learnt

For a while it felt like Manchester United were superior to Liverpool as their moved the ball much quicker, created good chances and opened the scoring through a magnificent ball to Marcus Rashford.  Rashford for one was just unstoppable, his energy, swagger and relentless running scared the death out of Liverpool's defense including Van Dijk who struggled all game to contain him.  He did score the goal that would've been the match winner but one area of judge from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer changed everything.  Taking off Rashford allowed Liverpool's defense to push forward and pile pressure on United's brittle back line.. It allowed Andrew Robertson cross a delicious ball into the 12-yard box which evaded everyone except Adam Lallana who needed just a tap in to score and restore parity.  Although, Liverpool did have the lion share of possession but without their star man, Mohamed Salah to stretch United defense, they really struggled to create chances....

Mane, Salah, Alisson or Van Dijk: Which Liverpool player deserve to win the Ballon d'Or?

For the first time in history, seven Liverpool players have made the shortlist of the Ballon d'Or.  Alisson Becker, Van Dijk, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Trent Alexander Arnold and Gini Wijnaldum have all made the list but the list don't feel right.  They're Liverpool players that really deserve to be that list. The likes of Andrew Robertson who is currently the best left back in the world contributed 11 assists with 2 goals last season en-route to Liverpool winning the Champions League and the UEFA Super Cup should've been included.  Joel Matip also deserve to be included. His the best 'right centre back' in the world and the only defender capable of dribbling past defenders while marauding forward.  There's no other defender in world football who can take the ball from the back, skip past two or three defenders before lying out a pass or shooting accurately to goal. Matip is the only defender who posses that trait and that is enoug...

Fabinho could miss Manchester City clash: So should Liverpool rest him against Aston Villa?

Fabinho might have struggled for 5-6 months to make Liverpool's first team when he first arrived but now, he is one of those names Jurgen Klopp never omits in the first team..  He plays every game nowadays and makes key contributions to the team's game plan. His tackles, interceptions and dynamism remains one of the key reasons Liverpool are yet to lose a Premier League game this season.  But, the Brazilian tackles haven't been always good and have resulted to four yellow cards. If he picks up another against Aston Villa he will miss Liverpool's title deciding clash against Manchester City at Anfield.  No disrespect to Aston Villa, they're a good team but Liverpool don't really need Fabinho in the team to win.. Its going to tough no doubt about that, but the likes of Jordan Henderson and James Milner can play in his position and Liverpool will still win.  So should Liverpool play him or rest for the penultimate clash with Manchester City?
