Manchester United captain Ashley Young will not be joining Inter Milan next summer neither will he be signing a pre-contract agreement with other clubs having be given a one-year contract extension. Ederson have picked a muscular problem during Manchester City's 1-1 draw with Atalanta.
Pep Guardiola has now confirmed that initial diagnosis aren't that serious but with Liverpool looming in the horizon, he decided to substitute him for the shaky Claudio Bravo.
"I don't know right now", Guardiola told the press when asked about Ederson's injury.
"It was not big but to avoid risk. He didn't feel comfortable in the last minutes and that's why we decided to make a substitution".
Guardiola will be hoping now Ederson gets fit enough to play against Liverpool having watched Bravo concede a goal in just four minutes of introduction before receiving a red card for mistimed tackle.
