Manchester City have reportedly reached verbal agreement to sign Real Madrid sensation Isco reports Mundo Deportivo.
Pep Guardiola is a huge fan of the Spanish play maker and has earmarked him as David Silva's replacement. But signing the 27-year-old is already looking complicated due to Unai Emery's intention to sign the attacking midfielder as Mesut Ozil's replacement.
Ozil is currently deemed surplus to requirement at Arsenal evident from his lack of game time. He has featured just once in the Premier League despite Arsenal's struggle in the final third. Getting rid of him and his £350,000-a-week seems to be Emery's objective at the moment.
Although, signing Isco won't be cheap, Manchester City, Arsenal or whatever club interested in his service will have to pay his £60m asking price before negotiations starts.
