Manchester United fans react angrily to Ashley Young's one year contract extension

Manchester United captain Ashley Young will not be joining Inter Milan next summer neither will he be signing a pre-contract agreement with other clubs having be given a one-year contract extension.  Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a huge fan of the 34-year-old and feels his presence at the club will be useful to the younger players in the team.  Although, the decision to keep him at the club haven't gone down well with fan who vented angrily on different social medias.  Some of the tweet reads; "How the might have fallen.. "  Another aggrieved post reads: "The more Man U fans want to escape the more the owners give them pain".  Another reads: "This Ole and Co. are really taking us for granted. Sean Dyche reveals the ugly truth behind Liverpool's success and why City can't compete

Burnley manager Sean Dyche believes Liverpool have shelved aside attractive football and focused more on grinding out result. 

 The Reds aren't the best footballing side in the Premier League but their resolute display and winning mentality have helped massively in keeping them on top of the league.  

 Liverpool are 8 points clear of second placed Leicester City having won 13 games and drawn just once all season. 

 Dyche feels the Reds have the edge over City who struggling for consistency due to injuries. 

 "Liverpool are learning that when it's not quite their day the can win", Dyche told the Associated Press. 

 "They can win ugly when they have to. I think that's a big step forward. If you want to win the title you've got to win as many games in as many different ways as you can. 

 "I think Liverpool have moved forward with that. I think they had a tight one on Saturday {against Brighton}, but they won, and i think that's an important factor. I think City are still a top side but even at their level if they get a couple of injuries it affects the balance of the side and the way it operates". 

 Liverpool will play Everton next while Sean Dyche side will entertain Manchester City at Turf Moor.

Liverpool 2-1 Crystal: Firmino is no average striker and 5 things we learnt

Another game, another victory, Liverpool have finally discovered how to grind out results even when playing way below average.  Palace were good to watch, they stopped Liverpool's swashbuckling football in the first 15 minutes of play and put them to the sword by scoring the first goal only for VAR {Video Assistant Referee} to choke it off.  The first half might have ended in stalemate but the second half saw Liverpool take the initiative through Sadio Mane whose snap shot evaded everyone and found the back of the net.  Wilfred Zaha did restore parity to keep Palace fans believing but in the dying minute, Firmino scored the winning goal to put Liverpool 2-1 up and eight points clear of Leicester City.  Here are the five things we learnt:  1. No Ronaldo, no goals! Real Madrid in self destruct mode as Champions League exit looms

What an impact a single player can make in a team. Real Madrid had that player once in Cristiano Ronaldo, a superstar who single handily created chances and won matches on his own.  He was able to win 14 trophies with Real Madrid did also manage to become the clubs' record goalscorer with 369 goals and assists 114.. Breaking: Manchester City star Sergio Aguero involved in a car crash

Manchester City star Sergio Aguero have escaped injury after his $150,000 Range Rover suffered serious damaged to the front offside wheel.  Aguero who was heading to City training wasn't hurt in the collision neither did he need any medical attention while existing his vehicle.  City have now confirmed that the club's all-time-goalscorer will be fit to feature against Crystal Palace despite missing Argentina vs Ecuador match. He has scored eight goals this season in all competition.  This  incident is not the first time Aguero have been involved in a car crash. Two years ago, Aguero suffered a ghastly motor accident which left with broken ribs. His taxi flew into a lamppost and almost killed him and the driver.  Aguero who boarded the taxi after watching Colombia musician Maluma was alive to tell the story because he worn his seat belt. tragic!!

Riyad Mahrez threatens to leave: I don't enjoy sitting on Manchester City bench
