Manchester United fans react angrily to Ashley Young's one year contract extension

Manchester United captain Ashley Young will not be joining Inter Milan next summer neither will he be signing a pre-contract agreement with other clubs having be given a one-year contract extension.  Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a huge fan of the 34-year-old and feels his presence at the club will be useful to the younger players in the team.  Although, the decision to keep him at the club haven't gone down well with fan who vented angrily on different social medias.  Some of the tweet reads; "How the might have fallen.. "  Another aggrieved post reads: "The more Man U fans want to escape the more the owners give them pain".  Another reads: "This Ole and Co. are really taking us for granted. Is Messi and Fabregas right to vote and say 'Sadio Mane is the best Player in the World?'

The Premier League highest scoring Senegalese has yet proven why Barcelona ace Lionel Messi picked him as the best player in the world. 

 Messi watched him, played against him and was marveled by his phenomenal contribution not just to Liverpool winning the Champions League and the UEFA Super Cup but to Senegal reaching the Africa Cup of Nation final. 

 Mane was outstanding last season and he has carried that form into this season despite resting for just two weeks. 

 His excellent display against Salzburg on Wednesday and got Cesc Fabregas purring and reminiscent the thought he shared with his best friend Lionel Messi. 

 Messi voted Sadio Mane as the best player in the world and Fabregas now says the Liverpool man is among the top 3 best players in the world. 

 Messi and Fabregas might have seen something special about Mane and that is why they rate him so high.. 

 They rate him higher than Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and even Cristiano Ronaldo and the stats are there to back him. 

 He doesn't just score goals, he falls back into midfield to orchestrate the tempo of the game and if that doesn't work he drops far deeper to provide Andy Robertson or James the defensive covering they need. 

 Mane electrifying pace, burst of energy, fantastic dribbling skills and killer goals makes him one of the best player in the world. 

 If Messi and Fabregas vote and say he is the best player in the world then he is the best..

Manchester United 1- 1 Liverpool: Marcus Rashford is a beast and 5 things we learnt

For a while it felt like Manchester United were superior to Liverpool as their moved the ball much quicker, created good chances and opened the scoring through a magnificent ball to Marcus Rashford.  Rashford for one was just unstoppable, his energy, swagger and relentless running scared the death out of Liverpool's defense including Van Dijk who struggled all game to contain him.  He did score the goal that would've been the match winner but one area of judge from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer changed everything.  Taking off Rashford allowed Liverpool's defense to push forward and pile pressure on United's brittle back line.. It allowed Andrew Robertson cross a delicious ball into the 12-yard box which evaded everyone except Adam Lallana who needed just a tap in to score and restore parity.  Although, Liverpool did have the lion share of possession but without their star man, Mohamed Salah to stretch United defense, they really struggled to create chances....

Scholes: Liverpool have done something Manchester United have never done

He leaves in the summer: Should Liverpool extend Adam Lallana's contract?

Liverpool could be losing one of its tried and tested superstar Adam Lallana whose contract runs down in the summer.  The 31-year-old will have the option to sign a pre-contract agreement with any club of his choice on Wednesday when the January transfer window opens.  According to the Telegraph, Jurgen Klopp still wants him in the team and will offer him a year contract at the end of the summer.  Lallana meanwhile has told friends he wants more football under his belt having recovered from years of persistent injuries and fatigue.  If the midfielder those leave Liverpool, he will leave as a Champions League winner, a Club World Cup winner, a Super Cup winner and soon, a Premier League winner.  The question now remains should Liverpool sell him or offer him a one year contract?

No Ronaldo, no goals! Real Madrid in self destruct mode as Champions League exit looms

What an impact a single player can make in a team.
