Manchester United fans react angrily to Ashley Young's one year contract extension

Manchester United captain Ashley Young will not be joining Inter Milan next summer neither will he be signing a pre-contract agreement with other clubs having be given a one-year contract extension.  Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a huge fan of the 34-year-old and feels his presence at the club will be useful to the younger players in the team.  Although, the decision to keep him at the club haven't gone down well with fan who vented angrily on different social medias.  Some of the tweet reads; "How the might have fallen.. "  Another aggrieved post reads: "The more Man U fans want to escape the more the owners give them pain".  Another reads: "This Ole and Co. are really taking us for granted. Thiago Silva explains why Liverpool star Sadio Mane deserves to win the Ballon d'Or

PSG super defender Thiago Silva has echoed Lionel Messi and Samuel Etoo' thought by saying that Sadio Mane is a world class player who deserves to win the Ballon d'Or or at least get nominated for the award.

 The Ballon d'Or will be contested by Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Mane's teammate Virgil van Dijk.  

 But Thiago feels Mane has done enough to get a shot at winning the Ballon d'Or having performed extraordinary well for club and country.

 "Sadio Mane is a world class player. He is almost perfect", Silva told Sky Sports. 

 "He moves very fast, controls the ball well and is very intelligent in his movements.

 "With what he has achieved this year, i think he deserves to be in the discussion for the Ballon d'Or". 

 This season, Sadio Mane has scored four goals with 2 assists in 8 Premier League matches. In fact he has scored 9 goals in all competition in just 12 games.

Klopp reveals why Liverpool can win the FIFA Club World Cup and the Caraboa Cup

Liverpool 2-1 Crystal: Firmino is no average striker and 5 things we learnt

Injury blow: Pep Guardiola confirms Ederson will miss Liverpool clash

Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Ederson will miss the trip to Anfield due to any injury..  He will be replaced by Claudio Bravo who he says is a good keeper and a two times Copa America winner with Chile.  Asked during his press conference if Ederson will be fit for the clash, Guardiola said: "He is not able to play tomorrow.  "On Sunday he cannot play. We have another top keeper. We won the Carabao Cup and FA Cup thanks to Claudio. Ballon d'Or is bullshit: Messi shouldn't have won it ahead of Van Dijk and Ronaldo

Another year, another catastrophic decision made by the Ballon d'Or organisers who gave the once prestigious trophy to a player who don't deserve to win it.  Its really embarrassing to know that Lionel Messi won the award ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo and Virgil van Dijk who both outperformed him with both club and country.  Cristiano Ronaldo was arguably the best of trio having won trophies with both club and country. Manchester City star Bernando Silva has praised Liverpool's incredible display and their ability to see out game without a fuss. Pre-contract agreed! Christian Eriksen heading to Manchester United

Tottenham star Christian Ericksen could be heading to Manchester United this summer reports The Telegraph. Ericksen's contract ends in six months time and he has no intention of extending it.  Next month, he will be given the option to sign a pre-contract agreement with any club of his choice be it Real Madrid, PSG, Juventus or even Manchester United.  But again, Spurs Chairman Daniel Levy will be reaching out to clubs in China or the Middle East to sign Ericksen knowing that meet his askign price { £40m } and even pay more for his service.  As far as know, Ericksen has no interest in going outside of Europe, he wants to win big trophies having spent 6 years at Spurs with just a single cup to show for it- the Caraboa Cup.

Riyad Mahrez threatens to leave: I don't enjoy sitting on Manchester City bench

Breaking: Manchester City highly rated midfielder recovers in time to face Liverpool

Manchester City's highly rated star Rodri has returned to training ahead of Liverpool showdown.  The defensive midfielder/centre back has missed two of City's last two Premier League wins over Aston Villa and Southampton due to a hamstring injury..  His recovery will come as huge boast for City who will face Liverpool next at Anfield.  Anfield is a fortress and City are fully aware of this having failed to win there since 2003 neither have the club's record goalscorer Sergio Aguero scored at Anfeild.  Rodri though will not take part in full session and will miss City's Champions League clash with Atalanta but will be ready for Liverpool.
