PSG super defender Thiago Silva has echoed Lionel Messi and Samuel Etoo' thought by saying that Sadio Mane is a world class player who deserves to win the Ballon d'Or or at least get nominated for the award.
The Ballon d'Or will be contested by Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Mane's teammate Virgil van Dijk.
But Thiago feels Mane has done enough to get a shot at winning the Ballon d'Or having performed extraordinary well for club and country.
"Sadio Mane is a world class player. He is almost perfect", Silva told Sky Sports.
"He moves very fast, controls the ball well and is very intelligent in his movements.
"With what he has achieved this year, i think he deserves to be in the discussion for the Ballon d'Or".
This season, Sadio Mane has scored four goals with 2 assists in 8 Premier League matches. In fact he has scored 9 goals in all competition in just 12 games.
