Liverpool vs Manchester City: facts, predictions and score line

The penultimate clash between Liverpool and Manchester City will see two of the finest team in world clash with each other.

Jurgen Klopp will face Pep Guardiola at Anfield and will be backing on the club's phenomenal record at home. Liverpool are yet to loss a Premier League match at Anfield since Oct, 2017 and have now won 44 matches, scored an incredible 102 goals and conceded just 28 goals..

In fact, they haven't lost to Manchester City at Anfield since 2003 and at the moment don't look like a team will loss that easily.

How the game will be lost

Pep Guardiola will certainly want his team to score first knowing that a goal will unsettle Liverpool's already shaky defense. The combination of Dejan Lovren and Virgil van Dijk is not the strongest centre back pairing in the world its vulnerable and easy to break up.

Once a goal is scored, full backs like Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander Arnold will overlap creating opening in the defense for the likes of Sergio Aguero, Riyad Mahrez and Raheem Sterlign to attack.

This ploy will throw Liverpool off balance and set the tone for City to race two or three goals clear.

City's strength lies in their midfield and attack but not their defense, which is a mess..

Ederson is reportedly struggling to be fit for the clash while his replacement Claudio Bravo just reminds the Anfield faithful of Loris Karius.

Liverpool will crush Manchester City if they play the likes of Fernandinho and Rodri in the back line against them..

You don't play makeshift defensive midfielders against Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.. It won't just work... Those three scored 112 goals out of the 133 goals Liverpool managed to score last season. This season, they've scored 28 of the 34 goals Liverpool have scored..

Guardiola must start at least a recognised centre back in Nicholas Otamendi or John Stones against them or risk getting humiliated..

Liverpool's strength is their attack and defense while Manchester City is their attack and midfield.

How the game will be won

If Manchester City really want to beat Liverpool at Anfield then they must defend collectively as a team.. Raheem Sterlign, Sergio Aguero, Riyad Mahrez or whoever is in front must drop deep and defend when they lose the ball.
What Pep Guardiola must know now before its too late is that Liverpool fans see this game as a final and not another Premier League match.. The atmosphere will be scary and intimidating which will then resonant to how Liverpool players play.

Forget about the tactics and match day talk from Jurgen Klopp and his coaching staffs, when it comes to Anfield, it is the fans who spur the players to greatness.. They get into you and make you play your heart out.

Anfield- fans -players, that is how it works.....

City meanwhile must stick to their game plan, attack when its possible and utilize their danger man Raheem Sterling to score or create goals.. Andy Robertson will be tough to get by but a player of Sterling caliber won't be stopped that easily.

Prediction: Liverpool 4-3 Manchester City

Mane, Salah, Alisson or Van Dijk: Which Liverpool player deserve to win the Ballon d'Or?

For the first time in history, seven Liverpool players have made the shortlist of the Ballon d'Or.  Alisson Becker, Van Dijk, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Trent Alexander Arnold and Gini Wijnaldum have all made the list but the list don't feel right.  They're Liverpool players that really deserve to be that list. The likes of Andrew Robertson who is currently the best left back in the world contributed 11 assists with 2 goals last season en-route to Liverpool winning the Champions League and the UEFA Super Cup should've been included.  Joel Matip also deserve to be included. His the best 'right centre back' in the world and the only defender capable of dribbling past defenders while marauding forward.  There's no other defender in world football who can take the ball from the back, skip past two or three defenders before lying out a pass or shooting accurately to goal. Matip is the only defender who posses that trait and that is enoug...

Finally, Gareth Bale ruins Real Madrid legendary status with stupid flag

Who in the world advised Gareth Bale to carry a banner inscribed: "Wales. Golf. Madrid", minutes after the nation qualified for the 2020 Euros.  Bale's decision was ill-advised and now he never be regarded in the same breath as Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Marcelo or even Isco. He disrespected the club that gave him all he has and made him who is today.  The trophies {13 titles including 4 Champions League and 4 FIFA World Club Cup}, the money {over $120m in wages} and the wide world appeal that attracted endorsement deals to him.  No doubt, the 32-year-old have created unbelievable memories like that sensational winning goal against Barcelona in 2013 Copa Del Rey, the overhead kick and long range stunner against Liverpool to win Madrid their 13th Champions League trophy.  But in-spite of those memorable moments, Bale has spent 2 years out of his 6 years at Madrid in the treatment table. He is always injured and hardly fit to play games.  His sa...
