Manchester United fans react angrily to Ashley Young's one year contract extension

Manchester United captain Ashley Young will not be joining Inter Milan next summer neither will he be signing a pre-contract agreement with other clubs having be given a one-year contract extension.  Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a huge fan of the 34-year-old and feels his presence at the club will be useful to the younger players in the team.  Although, the decision to keep him at the club haven't gone down well with fan who vented angrily on different social medias.  Some of the tweet reads; "How the might have fallen.. "  Another aggrieved post reads: "The more Man U fans want to escape the more the owners give them pain".  Another reads: "This Ole and Co. are really taking us for granted. You can't be renewing Ashley's contract while there are real loopholes to cover.. it's getting out of hand".  Sad ones goes this way: "Why, just why would you do that? Roy Hodgson reveals what Crystal Palace must do to beat Liverpool

Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson is confident of becoming the first Premier League manager to beat Liverpool this season. 

The Reds are unbeaten this season having won 11 games and drawn just once to Manchester United. In fact, Liverpool's last defeat came in hand of Manchester City which was last season. 

 Since that defeat, Liverpool have gone to win 42 matches and drawn 6 with no defeat. 

 Hodgson who managed Liverpool from {2010-11} feels he has the antidote to neutralise Liverpool. 

 "We have to restrict the space their front three are good at using. We have to defend the wide areas", Hodgson said during his press conference. 

 "We have to make sure our defending around the penalty box is very good. They are a very energetic team, a high pressing culture that when the ball is lost they work very hard to win it back and we need to have composure to free ourselves from our pressure."

 Crystal Palace haven't beaten Liverpool in any competition since April 2017 where they succeeded the becoming the last team to beat Liverpool at Anfield. 

 "Where we are in the table, we are not exposing limitations when we end up on the losing side. We are aware of our strengths and weakness and that depends on the players you use. 

 "I have been satisfied with the team's performances but I've had to hold my hands up and say the differences was a quality finish for performance. It is importance for us to keep going".

Injury blow: Pep Guardiola confirms Ederson will miss Liverpool clash

Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Ederson will miss the trip to Anfield due to any injury..  He will be replaced by Claudio Bravo who he says is a good keeper and a two times Copa America winner with Chile.  Asked during his press conference if Ederson will be fit for the clash, Guardiola said: "He is not able to play tomorrow.  "On Sunday he cannot play. We have another top keeper. We won the Carabao Cup and FA Cup thanks to Claudio. He is an exceptional goalkeeper".  Asked if Manchester City are not vulnerable without Ederson deputizing in-between the sticks, Klopp replied angrily.  "Why should i not be confident about my players and my team? Why do you like ask me this questions? "I see him every day in training. We won't lose from Claudio. You have to respect him. He won the Copa America, respect that guy, he's an incredible goalkeeper".

Mane, Salah, Alisson or Van Dijk: Which Liverpool player deserve to win the Ballon d'Or?

For the first time in history, seven Liverpool players have made the shortlist of the Ballon d'Or.  Alisson Becker, Van Dijk, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Trent Alexander Arnold and Gini Wijnaldum have all made the list but the list don't feel right.  They're Liverpool players that really deserve to be that list.
