Can Liverpool star Andrew Robertson stop Wolves superstar Adama Traore?

Image
What a player Adama Traore has turned into in just five weeks.. The 23-year-old has developed into one of Europe's electrifying winger.

He combines blistering pace with his power and outstanding physical strength.. Against Manchester City he was unplayable, difficult to stop and a threat whenever he gets the ball.

Watching Pep Guardiola closely you could see he was visibly shaken whenever Traore was on the run and skipping past his players with ease. He did score the first goal, assisted the second and had a hand in the third goal.

The 23-year-old Spaniard was unplayable and City just realized that. His next opponent is Liverpool and Andrew Robertson at the famous Stadium Anfield.

Can Andrew Robertson match him for pace and power? Can he really stop Traore when he actives his beat mode.

If Robertson fails, Liverpool will surely lose at Anfield for the first time in 2 years, that i can assure you.

Chamberlian or Henderson: Who should Jurgen Klopp start against Manchester City?

For the first time in 30 years Liverpool have a realistic chance of wining the Premier League title and on Sunday that dream might come true at Anfield. They play Manchester City, a world class team built by the world's finest manager in Pep Guardiola who is attempting to win a third consecutive league title. If Liverpool win, they stretch their lead to nine points after 12 games and further cement their hold on the lead. A draw won't be that bad for either side and league, cause the likes of Liecester City and Chelsea will further reduce the point gap at the top to 8 and 9 point respectively. But to avoid a defeat, Jurgen Klopp will have to decide if starting Jordan Henderson will better than the inform Oxlade Chamberlian.  Jordan H enderson  Henderson might not the most creative player in Liverpool team nor the fastest, strongest or the most intelligent player but, he offers Jurgen Klopp something no other midfielder offers.  He will run into ...

The 3 reasons why Manchester City might never win the Champions League under Guardiola

Winning the Champions League is difficult, a very difficult competition that only few clubs in Europe have managed to win in history.  Real Madrid might have made a mockery of how difficult it is by winning it 13 times of which 3 were won in quick succession. But over the years it has shown that achieving that fate involves more than just having Cristiano Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane.  It requires having a world class team alongside with a very good bench that can rival the best teams in Europe.  The team and manager must believe its possible to beat the best and be the best at all times. That self believe is what is lacking in Manchester City and hampering their progress in the Champions League.  Pep Guardiola might have won it 2 times with Barcelona but winning it again with Manchester City will be much harder.  Why? The fans don't believe, they're not as passionate as fans in Anfield who always give their players the aura of gods when they pla...

And also there for a short time. Joining Bayern would be difficult for him at the moment. Because, of course, he is still far from ...

Why Harry Kane must consider joining Manchester City as Sergio Aguero's replacement

Harry Kane has reached the stage of his career when he has to think deeply about his future and ask himself if sticking with Tottenham Hotspur beyond this season will be good for his career or not.  The England international captain have spent 10 years at Spurs and only once have he come close to winning a meaningful trophy {2019 Champions League}. But in those years, Kane has developed into one of Europe's  top striker.  With Spurs he has scored 171 goals in 263 appearances and won the golden boot in 2 of the last 3 seasons.  Kane is top class striker but he knows he has to win trophies to become one of the best player in the world. He knows scoring goals without winning meaningful trophies is tantamount to a wasted career.  Players remember the number of trophies they won when they retire while fans idolize them for the trophy they managed to win for the club and their key contributions in winning them.  Kane knows he is already a legend at Tot...

Pep Guardiola praises Liverpool duo Alexander Arnold and Andy Robertson

Pep Guardiola has lauded praises on Liverpool' sensational fullback Trent Alexander Arnold and Andy Robertson.  Both fullbacks have provided the width and creativity currently lacking in Reds team midfield. They have created more assists than all of Liverpool midfielders combined {23 to 6}.  In fact, Arnold has a Guinness World Record for the most assist by a defender in a single season {13}.  Guardiola is fully aware of their attacking prowess and has decided to praise them.  "The quality they have. If you play high, they get in behind. They are so fast", Guardiola said during his press conference.  'Alexander-Arnold and Robertson are incredible crosses. They have fantastic headers, they win second balls. It's a real complete team".

Why Barcelona players were all ready to 'reduce their salaries' just to bring Neymar back

Gerard Pique's revelation that Barcelona player were ready to reduce their salary just to get Neymar back was shocking but yet, understandable.  In the past two season, Barcelona have been bruised, battered  and humiliated in the Champions League by AS Roma and Liverpool. The latter 'Liverpool' really crushed them, evident from the video footage of the players mourning and sulking in the dressing room.  The old guards Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquet and Gerard Pique knew at that moment they needed Neymar back.. They needed the man who massively helped in winning them they're fourth Champions trophy back in 2015.  If Neymar had played against AS Roma and Liverpool in the second leg of the Champions League semi final, Barcelona would've faced Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur in the final and won it.  Messi would've had 6 Champions League and not four.. Neymar is a world class player, a game changer and returning to Camp Nou will instantly make Barcelona favour...

28 wins in 34 matches, Anfield is a fortress and 5 things we learnt as Liverpool beat Genk 2-1

Liverpool have topped Group E of the Champions League after beating Genk 2-1 at Anfield.  It was far from a straight forward win as Liverpool did concede a goal and had Alison Becker to thank for making exceptional saves in the final minutes of the match.  The Reds were ahead after Gini Wijnaldum found space inside the 12-yard box and directed a deflected ball into the back of the net. 1-0! and Jurgen Klopp could be seen pumping his fist to the air.  But minutes later, Genk equalized through Samatta whose bullet header flown past Alisson and into the net.. His physical framework was just too much for James Milner to deal with and that resulted to a goal.  For a while if felt like Liverpool were going to drawn the match but up stepped Oxlade Chamberlian who received a delightful pass from Mohamed Salah before turning instinctively and scoring the winning match.  Here are the five things we learnt 1. Oxlade Chamberlian is a born winner-   ...

Aguero admits: Liverpool will be champions not City

Manchester City's all time goal scorer Sergio Aguero has all but given up on City's chances of winning this season's Premier League title due to the incredible form of Liverpool.  Liverpool are 14 points clear of City having won 17 games and drawn just once.. They still have a game in hand against West Ham and a win could see them move 17 points clear of City.  Aguero can't see City catching Liverpool and feels its just too hard to even think about it.  "Now, Liverpool is too hard. We have to focus just on winning because we need to play Champions League next season", Aguero told Reuters.  "We have to play the same way and see what happens." City manager Pep Guardiola later added: "It's unrealistic to think about {catching Liverpool. "When a team has the numbers that Liverpool has, why should we think about it, when we are 14 or 17 points behind?"  City will play Everton next on New Year's Day before turning atte...
