Manchester United fans react angrily to Ashley Young's one year contract extension

Manchester United captain Ashley Young will not be joining Inter Milan next summer neither will he be signing a pre-contract agreement with other clubs having be given a one-year contract extension.  Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a huge fan of the 34-year-old and feels his presence at the club will be useful to the younger players in the team.  Although, the decision to keep him at the club haven't gone down well with fan who vented angrily on different social medias.  Some of the tweet reads; "How the might have fallen.. "  Another aggrieved post reads: "The more Man U fans want to escape the more the owners give them pain".  Another reads: "This Ole and Co. are really taking us for granted. You can't be renewing Ashley's contract while there are real loopholes to cover.. it's getting out of hand".  Sad ones goes this way: "Why, just why would you do that? He is part of the dead wood that they need clearing out "This

Why Barcelona players were all ready to 'reduce their salaries' just to bring Neymar back

Gerard Pique's revelation that Barcelona player were ready to reduce their salary just to get Neymar back was shocking but yet, understandable.  In the past two season, Barcelona have been bruised, battered  and humiliated in the Champions League by AS Roma and Liverpool. The latter 'Liverpool' really crushed them, evident from the video footage of the players mourning and sulking in the dressing room.  The old guards Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquet and Gerard Pique knew at that moment they needed Neymar back.. They needed the man who massively helped in winning them they're fourth Champions trophy back in 2015.  If Neymar had played against AS Roma and Liverpool in the second leg of the Champions League semi final, Barcelona would've faced Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur in the final and won it.  Messi would've had 6 Champions League and not four.. Neymar is a world class player, a game changer and returning to Camp Nou will instantly make Barcelona favour

Alway injured; Is Liverpool's £52m star Naby Keita becoming the 'new Daniel Sturridge'

Before Naby Keita joined Liverpool, most fans thought he was going to turn out to be the next Xabi Alonso who will offer the creativity currently lacking in Liverpool's dynamic midfield.  Oxlade Chamberlian, Jordan Henderson, Gini Wijnaldum, James Milner and Fabinho are all industrious and strong in tackling but, none of the above can orchestrate the ebb of flow from the midfield like Xabi Alonso once did; pass intricately or incisively in midfield and attack neither can they find runners in behind the defense.. {Fabinho though tries to do that}.  Keita can do all that and even more. He is very fast, strong and can dribble past players while driving forward to goal. He is more of a box to box midfielder,  'Yaya Toure' esque minus dribbling' than Xabi Alonso 'who was a world class deep playing midfielder'. Probably that is why Liverpool paid RB Leipzig £52m for his service.  But something is not right about the Guinea international.  He is never fit, alw

Is Manchester United 1999 team better than Manchester City'S 2019 team?

Premier League's most decorated player Ryan Giggs is overly convinced that he played for a Manchester United team that can compete with Pep Guardiola's incredible Manchester City team.  Giggs feels the 1999 Manchester United that won the Champions League, the Premier League and the Carling Cup {now called the Caraboa Cup} can rival City. He even went as far as saying United of the past can challenge City to the Premier League. Pep Guardiola made history by becoming the first and  nly manager in Premier League history to win the Premier League title with 100 points and the following season retained it with 98 points.  Sir Alex Ferguson meanwhile have never won the league with more than 92 points. His highest point tally was in 91 points back in 2008.  Comparing both teams don't match up. The present Manchester City team is far stronger and more equipped to compete for domestic titles than United were in the past.  Added to that, City are the first team in Premier Le

Revealed: Liverpool sets new record on YouTube

Liverpool are reportedly the world football's top earner when it come to YouTube views.  The Merseyside giants are currently £600,000-a-month on their popular video website. Kop fans usually visit the channel to re-watch the Champions League final or 'Inside Anfield vs various clubs'.  Fans get to see match preparation, players reactions, Klopp's press conference and other things.  As it stands only Sky Sports and F2Freestylers are the only football channels who earn more money than the Merseyside giants. Sky Sports earns £1m-a-month while F2Freestyleers are second with £700,000-a-month. Barcelona are in fifth position with Premier League rivals Manchester City and Chelsea in sixth and seventh respectively.

We want him back! Manchester City to offer £100m for Jadon Sancho

Manchester City have joined the queue to sign one of Europe's finest player in Jadon Sancho reports Sport Bild.  The Borrusia Dortmund star was once an unproven star at City academy and later the firs team, but his determination to get better made him switch the Etihad Stadium to the Signal Iduna Park.  Now proven and billed as a future world class right forward, City are now back to take back what they lost.  Although signing Sancho won't be cheap, the 19-year-old England international will cost £100m to sign which frankly is too expensive.  United did spend £89m to bring back one of their academy product Paul Pogba from Juventus, City could trend the same line and resign the attacker this summer.

Fact or fiction: Is Liverpool becoming dependent on Sadio Mane?

Sadio Mane is the world's best left back, debatable, but a vast majority of Liverpool fans will agree that he is outstanding and a leader in front of the pack.  He fights for the team; puts his body on the line to get maximum points and wouldn't mind picking a fight with his teammates, opposition and even the coaching staff. Mane is born winner and his display proves it.  Former Tottenham and Manchester Untied forward Garth Crooks feels Liverpool are relying heavily on the Senegalese international.  Why, he has scored nine goals and providing three assists in 14 appearances and he was the reason they defeated Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield. Both games would've ended draws had Mane not gone down in the box.  Mane just knows Liverpool won't win it if he doesn't put his body on the line and he those.  "Two seasons ago it was Mohamed Salah who was carrying Liverpool", Crooks told BBC Sports.  "Last season it was Virgil van Di

Guardiola reveals what Manchester City must do against 'wounded Southampton'

Pep Guardiola is expecting to see a complete revival from Southampton who were brutally beaten by Leicester City on Friday.  Southampton suffered a 9-0 defeat at Saint Mary which is the biggest loss by a home team in the competition's history. City have already scored eight goals in a game this season- and themselves scored nine in the Caraboa Cup last season against Burton Albion in the semi-final first leg at the Etihad Stadium.  Guardiola knows its will be unwise to underestimate Ralph Hasenhutti's men who are the moment are looking for the perfect opportunity to make their incredible fans proud.  "It's not easy of course but at the same time i think they are incredible professionals', Guardiola said during his press conference.  "The manager will be sad for one night, one moment, but after that they have to move forward. The players are professionals and will do their best. I am not going to judge Southampton or prepare for the games on that resul

Kylian Mbappe reveals why he wants to play for Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool

Liverpool could finally be signing one of Europe's most deadly finisher in Kylian Mbappe..  The French superstar remains a huge fan of Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp who he spoken highly off in the past.  Last summer, Mbappe praised Liverpool's brilliant display en-route to winning the Champions League and the charismatic nature of Jurgen Klopp who he said was charming and loving..  "I like Liverpool, they've a very good team and a fantastic manager", Mbappe told L'Equipe.  "The club is big with lots of supporters. Every footballer will want to play for them now".  Mbappe move to Anfield could be triggered in two ways; first by Liverpool's next kit sponsor Nike- who the brand ambassador Kylian Mbappe.  Secondly, his good relationship with Fabinho{ who was his former teammates back in Monaco} and Daniel Sturridge who revealed in Instagram that Mbappe loves his trademark celebration.  "Serious baller K Mbappe. His mom said he used t

Pep Guardiola reacts to Liverpool's 2-1 win over Spurs

Pep Guardiola has admitted he is impressed with Liverpool who have started the season almost perfect fashion. The Reds have won 9 games drawn 1 and lost none in their opening 10 matches of the season. Such form is frightening but Guardiola is not giving up..  He still believes his team have a fighting chance in winning three consecutive Premier League titles..  Probably due to Liverpool's past records of failing to cross the finish the line despite having the all the odds favouring them.. Something just happens and they loss out.  "Liverpool is a good team. I have said it before, they lost one game last season {to Manchester City 2-1} and they keep winning and winning", Guardiola told reporters.  "But we know we have to play well and win games if we're to compete against them and beat to the Premier League again. Jurgen, his team and how they play is woo! I am impressed". Manchester City will play Southampton next in the Caraboa Cup on Tuesday b

Manchester City Pep Guardiola reveals how many weeks 'Rodri and Zinchenko' will be out with injuries

Manchester City superstars Rodri and Alex Zinchenko will both be put for a lengthy period which Pep Guardiola has now confirmed won't be problem.  Zinchenko who recently had a surgery in Barcelona will be ruled out for up to a month plus while Rodri will be out until the next international break.  Asked how it will take before they're back, Guardiola said during his press conference: "{Rodri} After the international break maybe he will be ready.  "{Zinchenko} H e had a contact with a knew, something in the bone, Four weeks, five weeks, more or less.  "It was something to clean a little bit. Not a big issue. Five weeks, six weeks". Zinchenko will be out for up to 6 weeks but, City won't be worried due to recovery of Benjamin Mendy.  Manchester City are six points adrift of Liverpool and will play Aston Villa next.. A win will see them close the gap to three points depending on Liverpool's encounter with Tottenham.

Arnold Schwarzenegger reveals why he likes Liverpool and predicts the scoreline vs Tottenham

Hollywood superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger has professed his love for Liverpool who he says are incredibly good in turning around bad results..  The Former governor of California is currently promoting his new filming 'Terminator. 'Dark Fate' in UK and took the opportunity to visit Liverpool he has grown fond of watching..  Asked which of the Premier League clubs he supports, Schwarzenegger said:  "I like Liverpool', he told BBC.com.  "They are not always successful but, the momentum is there right now. Sometimes, and i don't know why, they lose some stupid games then they come right back again. When they say 'I'll be back', they are back".  The 72-years-old was later asked what he thinks will be scoreline between Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, he replied:  "I am going for 2-1. They will win at Anfield".

Manchester City star Raheem Sterling or Liverpool ace Sadio Mane: Who is world's best left forward

On current form and performance, Liverpool star Sadio Mane and Manchester City star Raheem Sterling are world's finest left forwards in football..  Both stars are extremely fast, strong, skillful, creative and above all, very good in finding the back of the net.  They both average a ratio of 1 goal a game and created at least 4 to 5 chances each game.. But the question is which of the two is better.  Raheem Sterling:  Sterling have remained pivotal in what Pep Guardiola is planning to do at Manchester City. In his 4 year sting at City, the English man has won 7 trophies including back to back Premier League titles while scoring a staggering 89 goals in 132 appearances..  Rated as the second most expensive player after Kylian Mbappe, Sterling has taken his game to whole new level.. He is arguably the best player in the Premier League..  Sadio Mane Mane is a gem, an industrious player who works his stocks off for the team. What makes Mane different from Sterling and ot

O'Hara: Harry Kane will join Manchester City and not Liverpool

Former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O'Hara can see Harry Kane joining a title winning team in no distant future..  Roy Keane might have suggested Manchester United sign the England captain but O'Hara feels Kane will go to a more established club where he can start winning trophies and not a club a struggling club. Liverpool is also an attractive option but they've to prove this season they're good enough to compete with Manchester City on the domestic fronts.  Speaking to talkSPORT, O'Hara said: "I think if he is going to go it's going to be Man City; it's only Man City, for me, who can probably get him.  "Aguero is coming to the end and Jesus is a different type of player, so if they are to get somebody it would be Harry Kane. But does he want to leave Tottenham? And can they let him go? I don't think they can".

Chamberlian is on fire and 5 things we learnt as Liverpool thrash Genk 4-1

Liverpool have beaten Genk 4-1 to further underline their intentions this season. The Reds will not exit the competition in the group stage but rather., they will attempt to retain the Champions League just like Real Madrid did before.  Man of the match will certainly go to Oxlade Chamberlian who registered his first Champions League goal in just two minutes of play before scoring what will go down as the best Champions League goal of the season.. His 35-yard spinning lob took everyone by surprising including Genk's keeper who stood still as the ball flown past him and into the net.  Those two goals opened the floodgate for Sadio Mane to score a lob before Mohamed Salah rounded up the party. But Genk did get a consolation goal through Stephan Odey.  Here are the five things we learnt:  1. Xaby Keita  and Oxlade Chamberlian deserve to start against Tottenham Hotspur-  For the first time this season, Liverpool moved the ball with lots of creativity and pace.. Naby Keita wa

Retire no! Juventus star Crisitano Ronaldo reveals the two things he need before ITS OVER!

Cristiano Ronaldo  has dismissed the speculations from sports papers and blogs that he will retire this season or the next. The Portuguese captain wants to play on, he feels he is the best player in the world and winning trophies is his entitlement. Since 2013, Crisitano Ronaldo have never missed a season without lifting club trophies. He has won the biggest trophies where he has gone and at Juventus he is breaking and setting his own record. But before he calls it a quit, Ronaldo wants to do what no other striker or winger has managed to do in 23 years for Juventus. He wants to win them the Champions League, a trophy that have eluded the Bianconeri since 1996. The Champions League is Juventus most coveted trophy not the Seria A {they've won it 8 consecutive times and will win it again this season}or the Copa Italia {won it 6 out of 8 season}. What they want is the Champions League and Ronaldo wants to deliver. He knows if he delivers the trophy, it will make him the first

Is Manchester City star Raheem Sterling better than Neymar and Hazard?

Raheem Sterling is on fire... The boy is now a man and his stats are just incredible... Sterling has scored 15 goals in 8 games, 55 goals in just 34 appearances for Manchester City.  His incredible goal scoring stats along with is assists {16} can only compared to two of the finest footballers in world football Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.  Sterling has surpassed Eden Hazard {the fat one}, Philippe Coutinho, and Neymar in terms of  overall output. The 23-year-old is blessed with electrifying pace, good dribbling ability, energy and above  all goals.  "If you look at the likes of Coutinho, Hazard, they can't look at Raheem Sterling right now", Ferdinand told BT Sport after Manchester City thrashed Atlanta 5-1 with Sterling scoring a first Champions League hat-trick.  "They don't get the numbers, they don't get goals and assists and affect games the way this man does at the moment. Every game, he's creating three or four chances whether it&#

Sterling scores Champions League hat-trick as Manchester City smash Atlanta 5-1

What a statement from Manchester City! The Citizen has crushed Atlanta 5-1 at the Etihad Stadium.  The man of the match will certainly got to ever improving Raheem Sterling who scored his first ever Champions League hat-trick along with an assist.  Atlanta did start the match with a spirited display and first got on the score sheet after the referee had adjudged that Fernandinho fouled Illici right at the edge of the penalty area.  Up stepped R. Milinoskiy who scored powered in fantastic spot kick right into the bottom-left corner with Ederson going the wrong way.  But, six minutes later, Sergio Aguero equalized to make it 1-1 before burial a sport kick to make it 2-1. That goal means Aguero has now scored 25% of City's goals in the Champions League- that's 34 out of City's total of 138 goasl.  The scored half returned to normal service  and Manchester City bossed the midfield and created teh better chances.  Raheem Sterling made it 3-1 after receiving a delici

Van Nistelrooy is absolutely wrong! Lionel Messi don't deserve to win the Ballon d'Or

uud van Nistelrooy assertion that Lionel Messi deserves the Ballon d'Or ahead of other nominated players is absolutely wrong.  Lionel Messi is indeed a world class player, a dream player every team in the world will want to have but, last season wasn't his best campaign. He did score a respectable tally of goals -50 goals in 54 appearances- which is phenomenal but winning the Ballon d'Or takes more than that this days.  In the grandest of stage, Messi failed to light it up. He failed in Europe {the Champions League} and Brazil {the Copa America}. In both competition, Messi struggled to make any meaningful impact.  Barcelona were blown away by Liverpool at Anfield despite arriving the ground with a 3-0 win with Messi scoring one of the best free-kicks in the tournaments history. And with Argentina who finished 3rd in the Copa America, Messi found the net just once.  Dani Alves 34, was the player of the Tournament and not Messi who was red carded against Chile and la

Breaking: Two Liverpool defender to miss Champions League clash with Genk

Trent Alexander- Arnold will miss Liverpool's trip to Switzerland after picking up a knock during training.  The Guinness World holder for the most assist by a defender in a single league campaign will now be replaced by James Milner or Joe Gomez. Why?  Liverpool do not have a like for like replacement for the full backs neither do they've for the wingers. Andy Robertson, Alexander Arnold, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane do not have quality replacement.. But rather makeshift players who can put in a shift and get the result until their back.  Another news coming in from Melwood is that Joel Matip have missed today's training season and could also miss the trip to Switzerland.  Matip is reportedly suffering from cramps and could miss the clash..  In his absence, Klopp will certainly call on Dejan Lovren who played very well against Leicester City in which Liverpool went on to win 2-1.  Liverpool have played two Champions League matches, losing one to Napoli (2-0) a

Mane, Salah, Alisson or Van Dijk: Which Liverpool player deserve to win the Ballon d'Or?

For the first time in history, seven Liverpool players have made the shortlist of the Ballon d'Or.  Alisson Becker, Van Dijk, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Trent Alexander Arnold and Gini Wijnaldum have all made the list but the list don't feel right.  They're Liverpool players that really deserve to be that list. The likes of Andrew Robertson who is currently the best left back in the world contributed 11 assists with 2 goals last season en-route to Liverpool winning the Champions League and the UEFA Super Cup should've been included.  Joel Matip also deserve to be included. His the best 'right centre back' in the world and the only defender capable of dribbling past defenders while marauding forward.  There's no other defender in world football who can take the ball from the back, skip past two or three defenders before lying out a pass or shooting accurately to goal. Matip is the only defender who posses that trait and that is enoug

Former Manchester City coach backs Liverpool to win the Premier League title

Former Manchester City coach Stuart Pearce is of the view that Liverpool will beat City to the Premier League title.  Liverpool have started the season in fine fashion having won eight games and drawn just once in nine matches. They're six points clear of City and Pearce feels Liverpool won't lose too many games this season.  But, he has ruled Liverpool replicating the phenomenal achievement of Arsenal finishing the season unbeaten.  "I think Liverpool will win the Premier League comfortably this year", Pearce told talkSPORT.  "I'm not sure they'll go unbeaten, but i can't see them losing more than two games. They're still clear favourites. Those could be against Manchester City, potentially, but if you go into the game against your nearest rivals with a xix-point buffer, it will put real pressure on Man City to come and play.  "That might just suit Liverpool".  Liverpool will play Genk next in the Champions League while Man

No Ronaldo, no goals! Real Madrid in self destruct mode as Champions League exit looms

What an impact a single player can make in a team. Real Madrid had that player once in Cristiano Ronaldo, a superstar who single handily created chances and won matches on his own.  He was able to win 14 trophies with Real Madrid did also manage to become the clubs' record goalscorer with 369 goals and assists 114.. He is arguably the greatest player ever to play for Real Madrid but the mistake Los Blancos made was not to find an adequate replacement for the 40 goals per season striker.  Real Madrid are in self destruct mode evident from their present struggle and lack of consistency. This season Madrid haven't won back to back games neither have they scored more than 20 goals this season.  The goalkeeping department is presently in shambles, Thibaut Courtois have conceded nine goals in his last 14 shots. In fact, half of the 24 shots he's faced this season have flown past him. The midfield is decline while the attacker apart from Karim Benzema are not scoring goals.

Pep Guardiola reacts to Manchester United vs Liverpool 1-1 draw

Pep Guardiola has revealed he had more things to worry about than watching Manchester United battle with Liverpool at Old Trafford.  Guardiola didn't watch the game cause he felt like many other manager that Liverpool was just superior to United if they were to play their best team {with Mohamed Salah} in it.  It did end 1-1 and Guardiola will be happy to know his team are now 6 points adrift of Liverpool.  Asked what he thought about the clash between Liverpool and Manchester United, Guardiola replied:  "I didn't watch it", Guardiola said during his press conference. "This game with Atalanta is enough. Yesterday i was engaged in personal issues".  Focusing on Gasperini and Atalanta, he said:  "What i said about Sarri i could say about Gasperini, i was lucky enough to meet him before.  "Having seen what Atalanta did last year and what they're doing this season is incredible. It's a great joy to watch his team play, they'r

Manchester United 1- 1 Liverpool: Marcus Rashford is a beast and 5 things we learnt

For a while it felt like Manchester United were superior to Liverpool as their moved the ball much quicker, created good chances and opened the scoring through a magnificent ball to Marcus Rashford.  Rashford for one was just unstoppable, his energy, swagger and relentless running scared the death out of Liverpool's defense including Van Dijk who struggled all game to contain him.  He did score the goal that would've been the match winner but one area of judge from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer changed everything.  Taking off Rashford allowed Liverpool's defense to push forward and pile pressure on United's brittle back line.. It allowed Andrew Robertson cross a delicious ball into the 12-yard box which evaded everyone except Adam Lallana who needed just a tap in to score and restore parity.  Although, Liverpool did have the lion share of possession but without their star man, Mohamed Salah to stretch United defense, they really struggled to create chances.  Here are

Gabriel Jesus reveals 1 reason why he will watch Manchester United vs Liverpool

Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus has now revealed he will watch Manchester United clash with Liverpool on Sunday.  City need Liverpool to drop points and knowing that Jurgen Klopp have never won at Old Trafford in five attempts makes the match more interesting.  Jesus meanwhile wants to watch his Brazilian national teammates Roberto Firmino and Fabinho play. He wants to see how strong Liverpool are and if its really possible to beat them again to the Premier League title.  Asked if he will watch Manchester United vs Liverpool, he replied to Sky Sports:  "I think so!  "I talk to Firmino and Fabinho last week about the 'title race and the Premier League'. I said to them both 'all the best of luck'." Speaking on the title race, Jesus added; "This season i think it will be the same {every game} because Liverpool are eight points in front of us. We have to try to win every game".

Man United legend Paul Scholes explains why Pep Guardiola is better than Jurgen Klopp

Manchester United legend Paul Scholes feels Pep Guardiola has done more than enough to be rated ahead of Jurgen Klopp as the best manager in the world.  Jurgen Klopp is the first manager to win the Premier League with 100 points and retain it with 98 points. He also the first manager to win 18 consecutive games in a single season.  Added to that, Guardiola is the first and only manager in Premier League history to win the domestic treble with Manchester City.  Scholes feels this achievement outweighs Jurgen Klopp's sole Champions League win with Liverpool.  "I'd still say Pep Guardiola. I know Liverpool are eight points clear and they won the Champions League last year, but they've not won the league yet", Scholes told 5 Live Sport.  "Jurgen Klopp's a great manager, and the football they're playing and the style of play is magnificent, but i'd still go for Guardiola after what he's done. I'd have Guardiola as number one and Jurgen

Why Emre Can's decision to leave Liverpool for Juventus have backfired

April 28, 2018 was the day Emre Can decided his time at Liverpool was over. He felt Jurgen Klopp's Reds weren't good enough to win trophies neither do they've the luck needed to win it final.  The 2018 Champions League defeat to Real Madrid was heart wrenching remembering how it all ended. Loris Karius high profile mistake condemned Liverpool to their fourth successive defeat in a cup final. T That defeat was Jurgen Klopp's seventh defeat in a cup competition since he won the 2012 DFK-Pokal with Borrusia Dortmund.  For a while, leaving Liverpool was justifiable, Emre Can saw Manchester City dominating the English league while predicting Liverpool will crumble just like Tottenham Hotspur who are yet to get themselves after losing the Champions League final.  Emre Can wasn't the only player that thought that way, Philippe Coutinho also decided he had to go to a bigger and better club which he did and we all know how that ended.  But, the green is not alway

1 win in 13 games! Can Liverpool really beat Manchester United at Old Trafford?

Since 2009, Liverpool have succeeded in beating Manchester Untied just once in 11 meetings.. The Red devils have won 9 games, drawn 3 and lost once back in 2009.  Head to head, Manchester United have the better advantage against Liverpool having scored 26 goals as agaisnt Liverpool's 8 at Old Trafford. They've kept more clean sheets {5}, came back from a losing position {4} and scored more than 3 or more goals {4}.  Statistically, Manchester Untied have a better chance of beating Liverpool at the moment than the reverse.  Why? United have everything riding on this game. They've to win to save Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's job and secondly must win not to drop into the relegation zone.  A win for United is a must or its going to end catastrophic for Solskjaer and his troops.  Liverpool meanwhile can leave with a defeat or draw but Klopp would want more. He will want his team to keep the momentum going and equal Manchester City's 18 match winning strea

Manchester City show massive interest in signing £50m rated striker Erling Haaland

Manchester City are reportedly interested  in signing RB Salzburg striker Erling Haaland.  According to the Sun, City sent scout to watch the 19-year-old play against Liverpool and they were impressed with his overall display.  He scored Salzburg 3rd goal to shock Jurgen Klopp and his coaching staff who decided it was time for Jordan Henderson and Gini Wijnaldum to exit the pitch for Divock Origi and James Milner who both came in and instantly changed the game. Within 10 minutes of their introduction, Mohamed Salah scored to make it 4-3 but for a moment, it felt like Liverpool lost.  One of City scout who watched Haaland play had this to say: " We had scouts at Anfield to watch him in action. They were very impressed with what they saw.  "We feel we would stand a good chance of getting him if we put something on the table to his club. We like his age and his link-up play. He would have watched the club a lot as a very young boy.  "His dad was a big favourite

Breaking: Manchester City star Sergio Aguero involved in a car crash

Manchester City star Sergio Aguero have escaped injury after his $150,000 Range Rover suffered serious damaged to the front offside wheel.  Aguero who was heading to City training wasn't hurt in the collision neither did he need any medical attention while existing his vehicle.  City have now confirmed that the club's all-time-goalscorer will be fit to feature against Crystal Palace despite missing Argentina vs Ecuador match. He has scored eight goals this season in all competition.  This  incident is not the first time Aguero have been involved in a car crash. Two years ago, Aguero suffered a ghastly motor accident which left with broken ribs. His taxi flew into a lamppost and almost killed him and the driver.  Aguero who boarded the taxi after watching Colombia musician Maluma was alive to tell the story because he worn his seat belt. tragic!!

Napoli defender Kalido Koulibably speaks about joining Manchester City this January

Napoli superstar Kalidou Koulibaly is happy to know top clubs like Manchester City are interested in signing him.  The 27-year-old is a very good defender who combines physical strength with tactical skills and intelligence. He knows how to pass the ball from the back, keep his composure under pressure and make the last ditch tackle.  Without an iota of doubt, Koulibaly is very close to Vincent Kompany in terms of physique, intelligence and leadership but he will cost a lot of money. The Senegalese international will cost any club interested in his service $100m and nothing else.  Asked if he is aware of City's interest, Koulibaly told Calciomercato: "Yes, i read the papers to", he replied with a smile, "Manchester City is a top club managed by a world class manager. "But i am with Napoli and we're doing fine.. I really don't want to talk about transfers at the moment, its a long season and i want to play well'.  Asked what h

Oh no! David de Gea set to miss Manchester United vs Liverpool clash

Spain might have qualified to the Euro 2020 after picking up a hard fought point but it did come at a cost.  Manchester United star David De Gea is reportedly suffering from a groin injury and will certainly miss Liverpool's clash schedule to be played on Sunday.  His injury is a big blow for United who must stop Liverpool from winning at Old Trafford cause a defeat could see them drop into the relegation zone and further pile the pressure on Ole Gunnar Solsjear.  United who have started their worst league opening in 30yrs will be 18 points from Liverpool after just 9 games and could be sacking a second manager in just 3 years.

3 reasons why Manchester United can beat Liverpool at Old Trafford

For the second time this season, Jurgen Klopp will be able to call upon his dependable first eleven for a Premier League clash.  The good part of this situation is that Klopp will be able to play his best 11 against a depleted and disorganized Manchester United. He will want to knock them off their parch and probably end the tenure of yet another manager by blowing them away at Old Trafford.  Liverpool are aiming to become the second team in history to win 18 consecutive matches after Manchester City as well as the first to win their first nine games in a row. In fact the Reds are 15 points ahead of United after 8 games which is the biggest point ever in Premier League history. But that counts to nothing knowing the history between both clubs. Liverpool haven't beaten United at Old Traford since 2014. While their phenomenal front three have struggled to score goals at the theater of dreams.  Roberto Firmino is the only Liverpool attacker to have managed to score a goal {ju

Say no to Racism! Bulgaria fans and crazy people have no place in football

Another day, another devastating blow to the struggle to end racism in football.  The embarrassing display from Bulgaria fans showed why FIFA and the European governing body must take a stuff stand on doing something about racism.  Nobody wants to be called a monkey neither do they want to remember  the history of their forefathers been hanged and burnt for been black by the KKK. Football is a beautiful game, a game which combines passion, tactics, brawls, near misses and goals to give you almost perfect result. Although, this combinations can be beautiful if it goes you're way and negative if you team is losing especially if its a 6-0 hammering.  Bulgaria were beaten mercilessly by England and the aftermath from the fans was the monkey chants and Nazi salutes. Its was a black lash from the fans who were disgusted with watching England's world class team carve them open time after time. If the three lions had taken their chances, they would've won 10-0

Klopp reveals why Liverpool can win the FIFA Club World Cup and the Caraboa Cup

Determined to prove his squad is the best in the world, Jurgen Klopp has called on each and everyone of his players to brace up for the challenge.  The Reds will play Aston Villa in the League Cup quarter final and the following day will play FIFA Club World Cup the following day.  Confident of winning both ties, Klopp said: "We had to do it like this. I think it's a really nice opportunity for the younger players", he told reporters.  "I know everyone thinks no chance but football is a wonderful. I would love to be part of that game to be honest.  "I hope they enjoy it, whatever happens. No pressure".  Speaking about Aston Villa's game, Klopp added: "It is a really nice opportunity for the younger players if you grow above yourself, you can make the next step, i would love to be part of that game.  "I hope all the staff enjoy it. It is a wonderful stadium for them, great atmosphere. They can make a step".  Liverpool will

The sad reason why Liverpool can't win the Caraboa Cup?

Liverpool are competing in five fronts this season {the World Club Cup, the Champions League, the Premier League, the FA Cup and the Caraboa Cup} and every fan will be dreaming of seeing them win it all. But achieving that fate will be hard knowing that Jurgen Klopp's team is thin at the moment and lacks the fire power to push in all front. Apart from Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane there's nobody else in the team that can guarantee Liverpool 20 goals in all competition this season.  Divorck Origi though is an exception but the 25-year-old Belgium international is more of an impact substitute rather than a game change.  With that in mine would it be smart to risk Salah, Firmino and Mane- who is already suffering from a dead leg and knock- in the Caraboa?  Is the Caraboa Cup so important that Jurgen Klopp will be willing to risk the world best trio in a $2m worth cup.  If no, then there's no point prioritize the match knowing that Liverpool&

Steven Gerrard: Liverpool duo Arnold and Robertson are world best full backs

Liverpool's greatest player Steven Gerrard has lauded praises on Trent Alexander Arnold and Andrew Robertson who have contributed immensely to Jurgen Klopp's team.  Arnold and Robertson are not just attacking fullbacks, they're the creative heart of the team. They take the corner kicks, swing in the crosses, take free-kicks and even score goals.  This season, they've both contributed 8 assists in 12 Premier League to help Liverpool maintain an unbeaten start to the season.  Speaking exclusively on their strength and phenomenal contribution to the team, Steven Gerrard said:  “What we have in Trent and Robbo now, straight away, you would put them in the world-class bracket,” Gerrard told the Liverpool Echo. “They are up there with the best players in their position, worldwide. So there's no point saying how good could they be because they are already there. The thing for Trent now is can he maintain that consistency for as long as he can? Because he can go o

Chelsea vs Liverpool: where the game will be lost and won

The blockbuster encounter between Chelsea vs Liverpool will see two of Europe's finest teams pelt their wits and tricks against each other. Frank Lampard youthful side will be hoping to become the first team in 15 attempts to Liverpool's juggernaut from taking all three points in the Premier League. But achieving that fate won't be easy and Lampard knows it.  Lampard and his coaching team know they have to stop Liverpool's world class attacking trio of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane from scoring.  Those three have scored 16 of the 21 goals Liverpool have scored in their opening 5 matches of this season. If Chelsea can stop those three from scoring, their chances of winning the game jumps from 35% to 75%.  Secondly, Lampard also knows Liverpool's midfield is made up of three aggressive tacklers and incessant runners who will press Jorginho, Ross Barkley or N'Golo Kante {if that's possible} to win the ball back and launch a quick counte

Reds legend John Aldridge slams Man City: They behave like spoilt kids when they lose

Liverpool legend John Aldridge has slammed Manchester City coaches and players who were all lived during and after the match.  Guardiola already has two memes of him sticking his two fingers out and protesting a disallowed penalty call and a handshake to Micheal Oliver saying 'thank you very much'- although connoted with a sarcastic undertone.  Aldridge didn't like the way City players reacted especially Kyle Walker and Raheem Sterling who took the fight to the English training camp.  Expressing his disappointment with the City players and coaching staff, Aldridge said:  "Pep Guardiola certainly showed his petulant side with his antics on the touchline and after the match", Aldridge told reporters.  "I think Manchester City are so used to getting their own way most of the time that they don't know how to react when things go against them and they behaved like spoilt kids really. I understand their frustrations on the touchline because I've

He is coming to Old Trafford! Arturo Vidal set to join Manchester United

Manchester United are reportedly in the race to sign Barcelona superstar Arturo Vidal.  According to Italian paper, Corriere della Sera, the midfielder's agent Fernando Felicevich is currently in Europe to discuss with various clubs who are interested in signing Vidal. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer remains a huge fan of the combative midfielder who will certainly add steel and bite to United's porous and lackadaisical midfielder.  Signing the 32-year-old won't be cheap though, he will cost United £17m despite having a year and six months left to run in his contract.  Asked about Barcelona and his lack of game time, he said: "It is not me who makes the decision on if i play or not, that is down to the coach", he told reporters.  "But the people will see int he end and i am calm because i just want to keep malign the most of the opportunities given to me and to carry on aiming to win titles and lift trophies in the future".  Vidal is the first and only playe

Can Liverpool star Andy Robertson stop Raheem Sterling?

Rahem Sterling's decision to swap Liverpool for Manchester City is finally paying off. He has won 6 trophies including back to back Premier League titles.  His form, fitness and general play has improved remarkably well under the tutelage of Pep Guardiola. And today, he is rated as the second most valuable player after PSG Kylian Mbappe. No disrespect to Gabriel Jesus or Sergio Aguero {both players have never scored at Anfield}, Sterling is the real threat Liverpool will face when City visit Anfield.  Why? Sterling is bullet fast, fantastic in getting past player with a 1-2 step overs and terrific in a on one situation.. The 24-year-old England international now scores an average of goal a game and looks likely to hit 50 goals this season. He has already scored 8 goals in 11 Premier League matches, 17 goals in just 17 games this season.  Stopping him won't be easy, Andy Robertson will have to double up his effort and ensure he doesn't get a foot wrong..
